there's been so much backpedaling on this shit -- and i don't just mean trump going from "it's a democratic hoax! a media witch hunt!" to "it's really bad." i mean the CDC going 250 -- no, wait, 50... no, 10! all the state governors saying "i'm going out to eat tonight, restaurants will not be closing" and then being all "we're closing all bars and restaurants" under twelve hours later. i don't think they're going to do a national shelter-in-place if it gets really bad, but the governor's denying a statewide shelter-in-place, which means we will get exactly that unless things slow down. so that's the point where you go from being "i could last two weeks just fine after all the stuff i've just bought" to "i think i just heard trump say july or august." i suppose the grocery stores will still be there, but i am debating whether i should make another run on the weed dispensary, because i have no idea whether they'd let those places stay open if statewide shelter-in-place hit. i suspect they'd let liquor stores stay open to keep people sedated in their homes, however, and ideally, that would extend to dispensaries too. i also suppose they have medical reasons for remaining open, nice, ok. but would they limit it to medical only, and no recreational? so many variables. |

Our water not working. Im out in the street, trying to check the meter in my pyjamas and the lady from across the street calls me “hey, do youuu like chilli sauce?” “Yes chilli sauce is great!” “Come inside, I have chill sauce for you.” I shouldve said no but my brain doesn’t work properly for at least an hour after waking up, so I went in. Her dogs are all over me, she’s up in my space. Next thing I know, Im standing on a chair getting chilli sauce from a high cupboard. Walked out there with 4 jars of chilli and a potential case of corona. |
