Actually....i must admit i came to this messageboard without
saying "hello" to everyone because i didn't see a thread
like this, as there is usually one on ordinary
messageboards....but this is not an ordinary messageboard.

So, as i can no longer live peacefully with this fact in my
mind...

i wanna say HELLO EVERYBODY !

I've been here for a year now and i'm happy i joined this
great community.

peace to you all.

Hey, I'm [d] and I'm not really new here; more like "re-new"
because I haven't visited the site since about 2003/4. No
reason for that really; it's just that I've been distracted
by all the free porn on the web.

At the moment, I'm going over the AERMX2003 tunes again.
Great stuff. I'm sorry I missed the chance to take part in
it. Although I participated in Vibes vol.9, an AE rmx
would've been fun to do.

Shout out to phellow xltronic member, phaelam !

Yeah, Aesthetics, I think phaelam rocks too. That's why I
remix all his tunes and call it a "collaborative project".
Unfortunately, he's one of those low-self-esteem-havin'
motherf*ckers (about his music). I'll tell him you
big-upped him. I'll upload more of our music to
glitched.org, soon.

By the way Afx at ATP is rockin at the moment.

I think I never introduced myself either, for some reason. I
used to use the old aphextwin.nu discography to see what afx
had released and found out one day that there was a
messageboard as well. So, my name is Atli (like some
mastermind might have figured out (no one would choose such
silly username unless it was his name)) and I'm a 20 year
old psychology student, for the time being, from Iceland.
I've been hooked on music since the age of 14.

I guess I wasn't that used to messageboards since I'm not
very used to stay online that much. I kinda didn't expect
this to be the community it is, with some people being
really good friends. And I can't believe how many points
some people have :).

As it turned out this place has some really nice people (and
unfortunately some that are not as nice) who've got some
interesting taste in music and other things. If I had to
mention one interesting person on this board it would have
to be tolstoyed. About a year ago, give or take a few
months, I was downloading on soulseek and couldn't download
from him. Most people would just have said "oh, that's bad".
He instead took down my address and sent me 3 cd's packed
with really good and interesting music, without even knowing
me. I could've been a total jerk for that matter. I didn't
think that people could be that nice. When I asked to repay
the favour and asked for his address, he just said that it
was ok and that he didn't want me to repay him (maybe he was
afraid that I was a psycho and might stalk him or something,
I don't know :)). I've always been grateful for that and I
hope one day to repay the favour. So, tolstoyed, if you're
looking for some Icelandic music that you know is hard to
get, I'm more than willing to try my best to find it and buy
it and send it to you, I at least owe you that much :)

Heh, that one turned out longer than I thought...

When I was in year 6, a TA used to take groups of us outside
to read and sing, I'll never forget singing a song from
Bugsy Malone one afternoon when this little old lady
(proberly only 40 but at the time seemed 100) farted.
Followed by an uproar of laughed and her saying "It's a
bodily function, every needs to blow their trumpet!" It was
the longest fart I'd ever heard, even to this day. Funny
thing is that I see this woman now ever Friday when she
comes into school. i still wink at her and giggle. she must
remember!
