for italy:
assuming they beat bulgaria... -if someone wins in the other
fixture, then they are through to the QFs...
-if they tie in
the other fixture, then italy must defeat Bulgaria by three
in order to beat out Denmark on goal differential

i think italy will go through... they looked incredible in
the first half on friday, and if Trappatoni leaves the
attackers the same, i think they can easily net three goals
against a very weak bulgarian team... the only trick is
replacing Gattuso in the midfield, but it seems like most of
their midfield has been playing pretty well so far, so i
wouldn't worry too much about it... probably i would put
Camoranesi back in... sucks about cannavaro, but i'm sure
they can find an able replacement

It doesn't matter how many goals Italy does against
Bulgaria, if Denmark and Sweden plays 2-2, 3-3, 4-4,
5-5.. and so on. Hopefully we'll beat the shit out of
Denmark anyway. It's a very important game for us.

I'm sorry for Spain and for Nacmat :-/

Italy played really a great match last Friday, but Zatan got
the draw with an amazing goal.
About Sweden-Denmark, i'm sure it will be a great match
without combine 'cos both the team has a strong national
pride.
It will be an hard match, but I think Sweden is strongest
than Denmark.

Italy should win against Bulgaria but it will be not so
easy...

earthleakage, i liked the totti spit game... :)

out of 30 games played between denmark and sweden, only 3
has ended in a draw, so chances are pretty big one of the
teams will win.

i think it's hilarious how much moaning the italians are
doing in the press about this potential fixed draw...

would you settle for a rather unfunny impression of alex
higgins or dennis taylor perhaps?

About as hilarious as Ranieri whining about how he would get
fired from Chelsea, which he thoroughly deserved.

Earthleakage: Can an impression of Dennis Taylor be anything
else but unfunny?

if trappatoni wasn't such an idiot... they never would have
been in this situation in the first place... he had better
get fired if they don't make it past this round...

Rooney is a bloody exciting part of the squad. Pity that he
looks like he should be hanging round alleys in a shell suit
and burgandy cap.

so far the team that has impressed me the most in Euro would
have to be the Czechs... but given that Portugal survived
the group stage, i expect them to go far in this tourney...
