I think it was the best game of the tournament so far, it had everything. Figo was awesome, that would have been some goal had he scored. The second goal was unbelievable. Holland were poor and only had a couple of chances, Portugal even scored their goal. Portugal looked like a world class side and will probably go on and win, against the czechs. I love the way Portugal play, they have lots of skillful players, i'm so glad they went though and England didn't. i agree with what Chris Waddle said about England, that they are a team full of clones, players with average ability on the ball and not able to take the ball past players. |

The ref was as fucking partial as they can get, should've known with him being a Swede. Portugal played a very good match but they got much of their luck because of the MANY schwalbes (fake falling/injuries meant to provoke a free kick/penalty) and overall whining (MAN, that keeper was a twat). And then to think Robben got a yellow card for his schwalbe... Having said that, the Portuguese were slightly better but we could have made it more difficult for them if the ref hadn't thwarted so much. |

so England was happy England got kicked out then as alot of them play for "the scum" too... True, he falls too much, but to hate him for that...it works more against him than for him anyway, I guess it's a lack of confidence issue. I was much more upset by that arsenal incident where the whole team was over him with demonic looks on their faces, especially that mongrel Keown. The offside thing may annoy (which could be a benefit) but it's not illegal or cheating because he's on side when the ball is played. I think he's just so passionate about the game that he'll do anything inside of the game's rules to win it, an attitude befitting a professional sportsman if you ask me. But in the end, it's just a silly game that more often fails than succeeds to entertain. At best,I've seen about 2 excellent matches in the entire tournament, and this Portugal-Holland semi-final wasn't one of them, as it was an unexciting one-sided affair where Holland never looked like contenders. For a match to be considered "best" both teams should play excellent, this wasn't the case here. |

those darned portugeese just were better. crap. and holland sucked, although that was mostly due to portugal playing good (and the referee being a home-whistler). i wish them luck against the czechs in the final. that looks like be a promising match. and thx for jorge for the goal. it was lovely ;D |

Been great so far in here, the England fans were by far the life of the party and they drink beer like no one else oO England vs Portugal was the best match so far I almost had a fukkin heart attack. We may had lost the first game with Greece but we weren´t expecting that kind of football but I´m sure Scolari figure them out. PS.
