What a great match !! The best so far imo.
Italy played great and took sweden by surprice with their
big offensive play. Our great goal keeper saved us most of
the times (he will get alot of offers from big clubs after
this).
Sweden had the greatest physical strength tho and was able
to turn the match a bit the last 15 minutes.

What a great suport sweden had from the crowd , thousands of
swedes dominating the stadium , it was like a home game.
I wonder what the crowd will be for the denmark match =)

It was pure willpower from Zlatan i think.

money. we have mattias svensson already he has settled in
well and seems to be playing really well. its a big test for
him next season in the premiership...

Italy was so much better tonight than against Denmark, more
speed and more heart.... They will do just fine without
Totti and if they play this well - they can reach the
finals.

Sweden will beat Denmark on Tuesday and Italy will beat
Bulgaria, which gives us Sweden/Italy to the 1/8 finals.

did anyone see Zidane getting sick on the pitch seconds
before taking the penalty against england, never seen that
before. Maybe it was nerves.

a shame the fucking referee has left his mark on the game

Indeed, the Dutch were very unlucky today after a terrific
display and should have at least walked away with a draw.
Terrible decision from the referee to send off Heitinga and
a horrible tactical decision by Advocaat to substitute
Robben. Robben, Davids, van der Meyde and Seedorf were
absolutely terrific tonight. The grapes are extra sour for
the Dutch tonight.

nowadays with all kinds of techniques available things like
this shouldn´t happen anymore...

they discussed about it before the tournament started but
the UEFA didn´t want it, and maybe it will never happen

indeed he should not have taken Heitenga out of the game,
but he just recovered from a hamstring injury so the
substitude was out of precaution

well, if they can't win czechs they suck...it's simple :)
it was nice game of equal teams, but neither of these two
have any chance to win the championship imo.

czech vs. holland match was brilliant. have to disagree with
you there tolstoyed. Czech rep. worked really well as a
team, making runs for eachother. Koller and Baros worked
together really well too, upfront.

shame about that tame sending off.

now lets hope Holland knock the boring, german wrestlers
out... need the Czechs to beat germany :)

best game so far, of all, in the tournament. What a goal by
the Czech at the end.
