engaging...

Seven Samurai and Good Bad & the Ugly are two of my favorite
films of all time.

Zatoichi (finally!) - 4.5/5

Currently watching Ichi the Killer and enjoying it much more
than I thought I would - Never been too keen on Mikke
Takeshi - Good director, but never blown me away.

Way too long for a dumb hollywood movie, maybe they should
remove all the special effects... but that would only leave
you with 30 mins, oh well, better than almost 3 hours of it.

spirited away - 3.5/5 (i cant stand the classic anime
love/emotional shit, but other than that i liked it a lot)

Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind - 5/5. I really like
how the director did this; the loud distorted voices and
deep humming remind me of going under anesthesia. Also I
really liked it when people in his dreams would talk to him
and by the way they said some things you could really tell
it was his own mind making up the dialogue (ex. while he's
unconcious he asks the doctor who somebody is, obviously his
brain cannot know what the name is so the doctor just sorta
opens his mouth and says "PAAAATTRICK")
