yeah. it's probably 3rd or 4th most followed sport, but during this world cup it's definatly 1st. and even though australia has had a very good national team since the last 2 world cups, they've just squandered opportunities in world cup qualifiers. i think it's because they play the teams of oceania, and beat them 31-0. finish top of oceanian group and all of a sudden have to play uruaguay. or they give away a 2-0 lead against iran to miss the world cup. now it should be different, australia qualify through asia, and they just minced japan, who are asian champions. :) i think saudi arabia were of the asian qualifying teams. so this maybe the last you see of them |
