in case you didnt know, barcelona supporters really admire
larsson for what he has done in his career and in his two
years with barcelona

he was the best in he last champions league final, and we
will always have him in our hearts

____________

anyway sweden must improve their game, I hope zlatan is
recovered for next round
germany is a hard step... good luck

Yes, I've followed Larsson closely in Barcelona. Too bad he
left so early to play for Helsingborg in Sweden. He's still
a great player...

***

We had too much respect for England in 1st half and allowed
them to play their own game. Sweden was much better in the
2nd half and put up a lot of pressure around England's
goal-area.

So, to sum it up, we still haven't lost against England for
38 years! Yes, today was close, but there's something magic
with "England vs Sweden".

***

Germany will do a big mistake if they underestimate Sweden -
but I hope they will do that mistake. Germany hasn't
impressed on me so far... Equador had 5 of their best
players on their bench today, so 3-0 is not quite relevant.
England better watch out.

I'm very happy for Sweden they deserved to win.
Germany didn't impress me very much so I think it will be an
hard fight for both team.
Sweden has many chance to pass to 1/4 of final imo, the only
one big problem is that Germany plays at home.

switzerland is not doing bad, but it's an illusion, every
country believes it's good and can go far in the
competition, but we will go to the 8th finals and we'll be
burned by the first team then.
Since then Im still supporting bleh !

the portugal vs mexico match was pretty decent, apart from
the inconsistent refereeing.

any guesses on the holland vs argentina score?

what a piss poor game this was, even worse then holland
normally play their friendly's. So, they left a few on the
bench...blah, I felt like strangling my cats because of the
the poor passes & mentality. I think they'll win the match
against portugal, because a better team will ne playing
then, not these secondhand losers.

What a disrespectful comment that is, so it's only the best
that count in your opinion... you must be having a tough
life then.

Second hand or not, they played a fine match.. especially
when there is no pressure like tonight.

i believe nacmat is the number one fan of football on
xltronic because of his unwavering, overzealous arrogance
that sucks any ounce of enjoyment one could possibly
experience in a discussion like this. he is willing to
destroy what he loves - that is real dedication!

it is poetic in a way.

lol yes & true. I was overemphasising my dissapointment with
Hollands performance, maybe I'd reformulate it to simply,
retards. I love verbally abusing the television & my
surroundings by projecting my life's emptiness to the sake
of a sports game.
This is extra eventfull when that many az players are
selected.

the first half in argentina vs holland was an awesome
display of football (from the side of argentina) tevez is a
warrior and messi also, too bad they couldn't score.
argentina was holding back anyway (saviola, crespo on the
bench). and in the second half they were all too tired.

i really can't see who could beat argentina right now.
they're just in tune.
---
---
shevchenko had his moment and ronaldinho stole it. now
shevchenko is past his prime. and ballack... germany don't
even need him. meh.

maybe thats a foreign perspective. i consider going out of
major tournaments to a cheat (86) / not qualifying in the
first place to a cheat (94) / going out in the quarters or
semis on penalties (90, 96, 98) / going out of the wc to a
fluke goal (02) to be unlucky.
