lol @ croatia

too bad it was srna who missed that penalty, because he's
probably the only down to earth guy in their team.

good result for aus that draw. :) now they just have to put
away croatia next game, which they will if croatia continue
to play like that and they're through.

the last game, 0-0 japan and croatia. was pretty bad, both
teams were below par, great penalty save though by japanese
goalkeeper. that had me out of my seat :D

an ideal result for aus would have been a japan 1-0 win, but
draw is still good, i eagerly await australia brazil.

ronaldo started to run a little..maybe he got bored just
standing there. ronaldinho fell over a ball couple of
times..maybe he got bored too. carlos was a bit
theatrical..maybe he too got bored.
however, they still look the strongest team so far.

its common knowledge and established fact - football teams
from balkan nations that have recently undergone localised
wars and ethnic cleansing, and really want to join the EU
but cant quite do it, are homosexual.

What a fucking GREAT game yesterday with Italy and USA!!!!
Thats the kind of football i love.

Brazil doesnt deserve to win. Ghana deserves to win.
Portugal will win.

"the most confident team"

You can't be true.. I bet you only say this to provoke once
again.. if not, then you really watch the game with
prejudice and surely have no perception of footbal.

Brazil played very poor, especially for a team with quality
players. Ronaldo played very weak once again and the team
didn't move to receive the ball. The moment Robinho came in
you could see the speed of their game went up.

They sure didn't deserve to win!

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2006-06-18 12:44 [#01922653]
Points: 50073 Status: Moderator

i don't say that to provoke, no. i definitelly think they
are the most confident team. even when they play bad they
win. and they never panick, and always pass ball properly
and not just shoot it out blindley. they're just brilliant.

standings

if you win against ghana (which is very very unlikely) you
could make it maybe.
you get 3 points if you win and 1 if you draw.

actually the goalkeeper isn't contemplated in the offside
rule.

the offside rule requieres for 2 enemy players to be behind
the player you pass the ball to.

of course one of these two is most often the goalkeeper.

"always pass ball properly and not just shoot it out
blindley
"
I'm sure you watched another game.

Wasn't France you favorite team?

Until this WC I found Zidane very sympathetic but after
todays match he really lost all my credits... another
spoiled character added to the list.

yeah, i like france, but they play bad..no idea what they
wanted today. and to draw against switzerland..what is
that..they play really good the last european championship i
thought, eventhough they didn't score, but now they even
play lousy.

i support ghana now, but im pretty positive brazil will win.
and germany will do good.

You are like most "football enthusiast" in Holland.. when
Ajax is playing well, half of Holland is supporting Ajax..
and they start to name themselves "Ajacied", I name them
"camp followers" because once Ajax drops in the national
league there isn't no one out there besides the hard core
who names himself Ajacied.

it's different with national football i suppose. i mean i
would love if france would do good, but the way they play
now there's no way. i loved how ghana played so im all
excited about them now. and im always impressed by brazil
and germany.

it's different with clubs though. realy isn't doing too good
but i still support them with whole my heart.

seems like italy and france are in some problems

brazil is first of their group... so if spain is first of
their group too, its easy that they meet in 1/4 finals

glups

OMG tolstoyed brazil was so shit vs australia, so so shit.
they were lucky to even score. they look weak, it's so clear
you have no idea about soccer ;).

If they keep playing like this, the day they play against a
good team (england, germany, i won't say argentina because
they have a curse against brazil) they gonna loose.

of course they can get better.

one thing i noticed is that the brazil team is OLD! I
remember the team they sent to the america cup. it ws filled
with youngsters, with adriano as the main man. it was ok,
they won the cup, by luck (oh surprise) now it seems like i
can't stop rambling bla blh blah who plays today anyway.

oh and mexico was so shit the opther day, i'm so
dissapointed.

and obviously argentina is the clear favorite by now. group
of death? HA! there's your group of dath right there.. ok
i'll stop any second now...
.

.. adas da adad

by the looks of it so far. spain is perfectly capable of
kicking brazil's lazy butt.

they use a mixture of pagan enchantments and catholic
witchcraft.

aided by the weight that the simple fact of beign brazil
puts on the their opponents shoulders.

were you too young to watch the last euro cup and last world
cup? :)

dunno what you guys are watching, but brazil is going to
wing once again.

offline OK on 2006-06-19 10:26 [#01923132]

yeah euro cup, i said from the beggining that greece was
going to win it.

but everybody was fascinated by the czech (sp?) team i never
understood why.

last world cup should be erased from history that's all i'm
gonna say.

did you watch last america's cup, or the confederacy cup?

LUCK FUCKING LUCK IT'S witchcraft!!! haha and they played a
lot better in those tournaments.

i doubt brazil wins if they keep playing like this. i'm sure
it's capable of kicking everyones behinds but not if they
play like this. if australia had better strikers...
