wow, real wins again-they surely play the most beautiful
football to watch
awesome, and to win against milan in such' manner...

manchester really didnt need to do this...
and juve was playin' with fire there...

bye bye deportivo...I have seen really good football with
this team

congrats woofer for juve´s match

milan was not in bernabeu, they had already cualified as
first of the group and they showed lack of interest i
think.

raul is a great player

i cant see why milan even bothered to come!? they cant do
shit without inzaghi-and what kind of football is this-they
were behind by two goals and they they substitute simic with
nesta? what the fuck... they should be ashamed-i'd really
like to see them loose against real in following stages...
anyway, real is wonderful to watch, and yeah, raul is
definitely one of the best players out there!

imo real doesnt play as good footaball as they should... I
mean, zidane, figo, raul, ronaldo, roberto carlos.... I
expect something else... its true that they sometimes do
wonderfull things, but they play with no order and they
sometimes seem to go at the minimum effort

hmm, just watch and see how they win the spanish league and
champions cup :)

and thats the beauty of it-to play like this and it looks
like they're not putting much effort in their game-but if
you observe better you can spot that they really run a lot
without a ball-i mean except for ronaldo they're all working
in attack and deffense as well-not many teams do this!

but-coul be that i see this in my imagination :))

just watch and see-they'll win :)

i'm very happy for juve, yesterday i suffered too much!
deportivo played better than juve for a lot of time, juve
didn't convince me anyway great goal of Tudor! yesterday i
recorded it and i watched this goal in a loop mode for 10
times or more!

From www.canaldeportivo.com

"Inmerecido adios a Europa
Miércoles 12/03/2003 22:46, canaldeportivo, A Coruña

They say: "Unlucky deportivo played better than Juve. Not
always win the best" well... depor played well but this
article is a little bit exaggerated imo.
we hit a pole too with Trezeguet ;)

*******************************

this is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in
football in all my life.

thanks juve supporters for that... you have shown the world
how a big heart you all have... thanks!!

juve will be in deportivo´s heart forever...and in mine too

about the article, I think they mean that in this league
after two matches between this two great teams deportivo was
unlucky cos they played very well and they draw the first
match and lost the second...so just 1 point out of 6...and I
think they mean that was too little for the well they
played.

but I think any of the teams would have deserved it

congratulations!

I think spanish are differents from italian football lovers
and i think probably you're better than us.
you support your fav team, but also all others spanish teams
who play in the cups.
Here in Italy is different, we support only our fav team,
and normally we support against the other Italian's rival
(especially there's a big rivalry between Juve-Inter-Milan)

When Milan lost against Real Madrid many Inter&Juve fans was
happy and teased Milan supporters.

football or anything...

i support just any team that plays cool football...ok, if my
fav team is playing i like to see them win-not always tho...

Two questions for Nacmat about "LIGA":

1) What Spanish are thinking of Albertini? Is he playing
well there? Do you like him?

2) What about Kovacevic? I know he's scoring a lot of goal.
I like him when he played in Juve and I was disappointed
when he left us :-/

well dont think is very different here... barcelona
suporters love it when madrid looses in europe...and
viceversa

or Atletico de madrid supporters when real madrid looses in
europe and viceversa

but then some other teams I dont feel them as real rivals
(deportivo, valencia...) so I always want them to win

my friends and girlfriend are real madrid supporters so I
dont hate real madrid very much.... though I recognize I
would have liked milan had won last wednesday

the same thing happens between Sevilla and Betis teams

Barcelona and Español

Depòrtivo and Celta

its a question of rivalry

albertini: nice team leader, experienced, great touch of the
ball for corners or free kicks

kovacevic = goal
never knew why he didnt work in juve, he is very much like
vieri (big, strong and skillfull, always pointing to score)

Now Del Piero should be OK and maybe it could play in the
next match of Saturday and with Basel on Tuesday.
It's my fav player and Juve need his quality feet on the

I think Barça is better than Deportivo... so...

Kovacevic is really similiar to Vieri... they has similiar

In Juve he didn't play much 'cos he was always the
alternative of Inzaghi, Del Piero and Trezeguet in that
period.

nice comments from uefa.com:

Five places to fight for
Thursday, 13 March 2003
With one round of games remaining in the UEFA Champions
League second group stage, only three teams can breathe easy
right now. FC Barcelona, AC Milan and Manchester United FC
have already secured first place in their respective groups,
but five berths remain to be filled, meaning chewed
fingernails and frantic calculations for the supporters of
several clubs next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Too close to call
Only three sides, RC Deportivo La Coruña, Bayer 04
Leverkusen and FC Lokomotiv Moskva, are definitely
eliminated and nowhere is the situation tighter than in
Group B. Only three points separate leaders AFC Ajax from AS
Roma, the fourth-placed club, and all four sides will enter
Matchday 12 on Wednesday with the chance of progressing.
Ajax will go through on Wednesday if they win or draw away
to Roma; they will also qualify if they suffer a single-goal
defeat of 3-2 or more and Valencia CF are beaten by Arsenal
FC.

All or nothing for Valencia
In the case of second-placed Arsenal, the English champions
will progress either if they win or draw in Valencia, or if
they lose and Ajax also lose. For Valencia, a point below
Ajax and Arsenal, it is more simple: Rafael Benítez's men
must beat Arsenal, as any other outcome will not be enough.
Roma, meanwhile, will advance if they win against Ajax and
Valencia and Arsenal draw; or if they win 1-0 or 2-1 and
Arsenal win.

Inter have upper hand
With Barcelona already qualified from Group A, second-placed
Internazionale FC have a point more than Newcastle United FC
entering their final match and will go through by winning at
Leverkusen on Wednesday or matching the English side's
result. Newcastle face Barça at St James' Park needing to
better Inter's result if they are to overtake Héctor
Cúper's side.

Dortmund visit Milan
The scenario is the same in Group C, where Milan have
finished top, and second-placed Real Madrid CF lead BV
Borussia Dortmund by a point. A Madrid win

Dortmund visit Milan
The scenario is the same in Group C, where Milan have
finished top, and second-placed Real Madrid CF lead BV
Borussia Dortmund by a point. A Madrid win at Lokomotiv on
Tuesday will definitely see them through; otherwise they
have to hope Dortmund do not better their result in Moscow
when the German champions visit Milan.

Juve in pole position
Manchester United have won Group D and Juventus FC are in
pole position to follow them into the quarter-finals as they
hold a three-point advantage over both FC Basel and
eliminated Deportivo. Only a huge win for Basel against
Juventus on Tuesday combined with a draw or defeat for
Deportivo against United can deny the Italians a place in
the last eight.

Little miracle needed
Basel have to win 4-0 or by five clear goals in the case of
a Juventus away goal and rely on Deportivo failing to win.
However, if Basel and Depor both win then they would join
Juventus on seven points and the Italians would go through
by virtue of their superior head-to-head results against
those two teams. In games between the three, Juve would have
taken seven points, Basel six and Depor four. Those are the
calculations. In a few days' time, the picture will clear
once and for all.

did you hear what menoti and maradona said?

menoti:
ronaldo is not a good football player, he is a physical
prodigy but he doesnt seem to make the best election towards
solving a situation and a good football player is that one
who solves more different situations during a match

maradona:

vicente del bosque is a good person but a bad coach, you
dont see his "signature" in madrids game, which is very
caotic

no havent seen this before-i dont know much about ronaldo,
but he had all the bad luck so far with all his injuries.
he's one of the most gifted players ever, don't know nothing
about his training performance and how is he as a person, i
dont really care either-i love to see him on a field-thats
enogh for mr :)

well, maradona is one twisted individual, real plays the
most beautiful football in my eyes, it really seems like
players know each other so good everyone knows what to do at
a certain moment-they really work great as a unite.
i mean many teams are just trying to get the ball to their
strickers, but real is playing combinations...
