autechre - untilted leaked?

It`s real. Can`t you hear? It`s deceptively simple. Why
would some person compose all these tracks and pretend they
are somebody else? That's just daft. Pro Radii sounds like a
throwback to their Amber days.

Natfwa4 would pretty much fit in the current leak release,
between any of the tracks. It shares the same similarities.
I'm personally not to fond of it, as it present the
percussion soundings a little too forward, like I wrote
earlier I would prefer a balance in the mix so that
everything else is on the same level. For me that's more AE
than just a piece that's driven by the beats.

mc_303_beatz because it has happened like 4 times before
with ae releases.

here's why i think this is not the real ae:

1. their long players have always been cutting edge, it has
been on their lps where they show their skill and their
innovation, because its easier to create complex tracks in
the studio compared to live.

2. the production and melodies on tracks like "fermium"
simply cannot be autechre. it's too simple, and too cheesy.

3. the sound of it all, all of it, it just doesnt feel like
autechre.

4. i think their lp is going to be amazing.

2. if you are wrong you are going to be sorely disappointed

4. same as 2

no, it's quite bad imo

But let's just say something... that this is the real deal,
it's just badly masterised. Now listen to portions of it,
imagine if let's say the percussion soundings were 75% of
the volume and everything else was upped 10db to the front
and made much more present spatially throughout the stereo
range. Now wouldn't this be a much better and "real" thing,
no?

It's a possibility, very much.

Just want to add my £0.20 to the thread.. As a longtime fan
of their work I'd say this is Ae, but possibly a different
mix from the release or maybe live outtakes etc.. not the
final version? As these copies fill the p2p networks,
spreading everywhere, the hype will build up and people will
enjoy the music anyway (rocks, IMO). When the record is
released, a different mix/track selection will provide a new
viewpoint/depth to the work and thus add value to buying an
original copy - obtaining the correct version has become a
pain by this point because so many 'fakes' are already out
there.

-The fans get the music, and even more goodies with the new
mix.
-The artists have a way of getting advance reaction from the
fans, and possibly securing more sales while at the same
time actually releasing two versions of the same/slightly
different album.

Hehee, can't wait t see how this will turn out in the end
and totally prove me wrong.. I'm enjoying the whole
phenomenon :M

dear cx:

we really appreciate the kind words, but again please dont
take this personally - we need you to calm down. we are
only human and can at times release utter crap - although
this has never happened before. please take this time to
re-evaluate your life and hope you can come to terms with
our sudden bout of mediocracy, we are only human.

regards,

autechre.

gah
no.

i dont care if they spread the stereo like jenna jameson
spreads her legs for doctor cock.
it would still suck because the sounds, the arrangements and
the ideas are so far behind what autechre is capable of and
have been doing on their last to lp's.

and yes i would be sorely dissapointed if this was the real
deal, NOT because its a bad album, because its not, but
because its way under autechres standard nowadays.

or better yet, let's just say Rob and Sean figured out how
to up their casette tape-leak-version of Draft-exploit this
time around...

its def. them, but I still dont think its the new album.

dear autechre

first off, i love you dearly.
i guess a REAL fanboy would drink your cockjuice no matter
how sour, but as it is now, i can't. *spits*
i hope that you in the future will re-evaluate YOUR lives
and in doing so realizing what an awesome fucking path you
were on when you created confield and draft, and promptly
return there.

i promise, it leads to heaven.

that was good tolstoyed.

now this is what i said on irc, and i think i actually may
be serious too.

[ war ] the most gorgeous, hottest most beautiful perfect
girl ever, came up to me and asked me if i wanted to have
sex for a week straight and i could do whatever i wanted
with her, i'd be less excited then, than when ae releases a
new album

[ 23:44:35 ] [ war ] id rather have this new ae cd than
have sex all my life actually
[ 23:44:39 ] [ war ] if i had to choose

[ 23:45:19 ] [ war ] i cant help it
[ 23:45:22 ] [ war ] im just THAT EXCITED
[ 23:45:46 ] [ war ] lets put it this way
[ 23:45:48 ] [ war ] god exists
[ 23:46:12 ] [ war ] and he is willing to put all the most
beautiful girls in the world between 15 and 18 in a room,
naked, for me to fuck at my leasure for eternity
[ 23:46:14 ] [ war ] or
[ 23:46:16 ] [ war ] the new ae cd
[ 23:46:20 ] [ war ] guess which i'd pick

track Autechre released? It's called nftwa4. You can hear
it
here

Listen to this track. I listened to the first 10 seconds of
