disagree with all of you. it's amazing trent is still
making new music that still speaks to me. obviously none of
you have ever been depressed.

I don't see what the big hullaballoo is about.

it just sounds like a Dumb Pop/Rock Record.

ALL of NIN's records sound like Dumb Pop/Rock Records.

I've hardly heard anything really experimental in any of his
work, neither do his lyrics say anything new.

that doesn't make the records, including the new one, less
enjoyable.

After this, no comment on this topic any longer. (sometimes
I swear I am the only person on this planet amidst a really
fucked up experiment gone awry. Go ahead and enjoy the
record, I'm sure you're anxiously awaiting the new Linkin
Park too.)

Fuck.

mini review:

about 4 tracks are crap

a few are great and a few are just average.

conclusion - about as good as i expected considering its
entirely song based, not dissapointed at all.

If anyone has any doubts listen to Sunspots LOUD!

listening to it again. on headphones this time. for some
reason I'm reminded of Interpol's "Antics" album. but it's
also nostalgic, a mix of "the downward spiral" and "broken."
if anything, trent is going back to his roots with this.
where 'The Fragile" seemed like a major over the top
production, this sounds more raw or something. i don't
know.
!

i know what you mean, the fragile for me was lacking a bit
of diversity. With Teeth is a bit more varied and as a
result its very hit and miss... but thats to be expected and
its worth it for the tracks that work.

unlike most people here you seem to have a problem with
people having a different opinion to yourself. You don't
like the album, others do... deal with it.

Really, its no big deal... don't get so upset over it.
