Yeah, I've had some encounters. The game's definitely getting tougher. I've got all of my weapons (Rifle, Striker, Punisher) maxed out. I'm saving for the Killer 7 now. :) Ceri: I know, I wish he would've shot him. A dagger through the face would be more satisfying, though. Speaking of "Killer 7", that's another game I'm interested in. |

metroid prime was such a thrill... and yes, i DIED in a few of the later metroid bosses... not something that happens often in nintendo games. the final boss was a killer freak. I've been playing soul calibur II on ps2 (anachronistically, but I got it cheap, waiting for tekken5). pretty. |

well, since i loved virtua tennis it's pretty much a done deal now. probably the only sports game that really hooked me. i just hope a store has it since it's fairly old. |

apparently london is devoid of beach spikers, so i picked up virtua fighter 4: evolution and oh my, oh my! simply the best fighting game i've ever played (and i am/used to be a hardcore street fighter 3: third strike fan). wowza. virtua anything is worth my money. |

Haven't played it since the Dreamcast (or am I thinking of soul caliber?)- twas a pretty game. With the demise of the local arcade in America you don't get to see the dual-sticked gladitorial machines of the ages past... what's up with that? |

luckily there's a rather nice, albeit capcom-biased arcade here that i can go to, though i've only been there once so far. i'm more content to play friends in the comfort of our homes. |

yeah, and i was very, very surprised and incredibly impressed at how faithful they were to the comics. i mean, it was still a big dumb action movie, but it was a *good* big dumb action movie. i think i'll enjoy it even more on a small screen. |

american splendour also turned out fairly excellent, while we're at it. i just don't see jimmy corrigan translating well. with ghost world i vastly preferred the comic, and it somewhat shares the same sensibilities as acme. |

pro evo 4 I bought a player for buttons who has most of his stats at around 97, but his turning skills with the ball are like, 52. Im praying that next season he'll be the best player in the universe. |

Gran Turismo 3 99.8% done (it only shows 99% though, and waits until 100% to change) I have once course left. Cote D'Azur, 78 laps. It's the last race in the 10 race F-1 series. I was about 1/4 into it and my friend asked me to come over and beat the game there. We've met halfway and it will be beaten this Sunday. There will be champagne. It will be awesome. Sorry this is really dorky, but 100% is quite a feat, especially in under 2 months. |

Midnight Club 3 - Dub Edition. One of the most fun driving/biking games (bar maybe Burnout 3). I like simulation type games too, but this is more entertaining. Chaving up (Americans, read "pimping") a usually tasteful car like a Mercedes SL500 is so wrong, but yet extremely entertaining. Excellent soundtrack too. My only gripe is that despite the in depth customisation options, all level 1 brakes are the same, all level 2 nitrous kits are the same etc. so including the option to select different marques is just a marketing exercise. Also, once my mate gives me my copy back, I'll be replaying Resident Evil 4. |

I like games with physics in it. I don't know why, it's childish but I like to play with a stack of boxes in a physics engine demo, for example... a good game with impressive physics : Cyparade you play a ball which can be paper wood or stone in 13 excellent levels and a free little game : right now I'm playing Stunt Playground, a game where you can create an arena with : jumps, crates, barrels, and others, and then you drive in it and destroy everything. the excellent feature is the instant replay of your stunts, with backward slow-motion possibility ! try it : it's ! and also try the demo, the 1.5 mb one |
