its easy to believe if you understand that after scoring one they just wanted to defend (just what spain did last match)
anyway thats what italy always do...they score and the game is over... but lately (look at the champions league) that is not giving them any prize at all

spain, england, germany and turkey (4 teams from europe, though turkey is just in the middle between asia and europe they belong to uefa)
where are italy, netherlands, portugal and france???
brazil and usa (two from america, but where are argentina, uruguay or mexico??)
korea (one from asia... again as in 1966, maybe its time to think that asia can win a world cup...sometime)
senegal (one from africa out of the five that started the cup, there is always one good team from africa, nigeria in 1994 or 1998, camerun in 1990... this time senegal could reach further than any other in the past)
so this are the best 8 teams in the world right now:
germany usa spain korea brazil england senegal turkey
no one from groups G or H 2 from groups C and D
brazil won all the matches..................12p spain won 3 and another in penalties...10p germany won 3 and one draw....10p korea won 3 and one draw.........10p senegal and england won 2 matches and drawed 2.........8p usa and turkey won 2 matches drawed one and lost one..... 7p

korea´s coach is guus hiddink
he was coach here in spain in real madrid and valencia... he was in valencia more than 7 years ago so non of the players are the same now, but he was real madrid´s coach in 1999 and he won the intercontinental cup against vasco de gama in japan, so he knows very well some players in spain (raul, hierro, morientes... were in real madrid when he was his coach)
this means he might have lots of information about us, and he might know some good and bad things about those players
I am frightened

spain vs korea will be a huge game. i still think spains narrow win over ireland will do them good - but who knows, korea are a little like ireland in that respect - don't give up till the very last minute!!!
ok, the way this world cup is going I'm predicting:
england vs brazil england vs turkey senegal vs turkey england vs spain germany vs usa (p) usa vs spain spain vs korea (p)

I hope you are right because no other predictions have been right so far
Brazil v. Germany is likely, and those two have never played each other in a world-cup match !! Seeing this is a world-cup of first - times, maybe the first meeting of two great nations for the final ? :(

I mean its not impossible that Korea go to the final??
Tho I really think that Spain will win, because for Korea this game already was a huge victory - and in a sense they already have achieved the impossible, and i don't think it will matter to the fans if they loose to spain - Spain on the other hand has a bit of a history -> and so may be more motivated to make it to the final??
Not that korea isn't motivated to get to the final, but i don't know how focussed they can remain? Having said that, if the Spain korea match goes extra time, i think that korea would be favoured. :/

Yeah conspiracy> Bin Laden is Pele and Japan is not a real country, its all a hologram and Sepp Blatter is a shapeshifting reptilian being and the referees have yellow blood and eat babies. And it has been decided that Korea will win the world cup.
PS> USA were supposed to be "Given" the cup in 1994, but their team has done better THIS time. so, no conspiracy methinks.

Here I am.
1) I'm sorry, but I was ill and I hadn't the possibility to write here. Today I back in my office and I'm fine.
2) This world cup 2002 is a fuckin' trick and it could be fuckin' conspirancy (some of you remember olimpic games of SEOUL 1988???)
3) These refees and linesman are the worst of all world cup editions.
(Penalty for Brasil against Turkey, 5 goals denied to Italy, Totti expulsion, goal denied to Belgium against Brasil, etc...)
4) Italy played a bad game, Trapattoni was a coward and made a fuckin' substitution DelPiero-Gattuso. He wanted defend 1-0 against Korea... it's a shame!
5) But a much more big shame is... ONE REGULAR GOLDEN GOAL DENIED TO TOMMASI! Do you understand the mean of "GOLDEN GOAL DENIED"... the mean is that they denied our victory.
Why Totti out? Why?!? Why JAPAN-TURKEY had Collina as referee instead KOREA-ITALY a fuckin' fat guy called Moreno from ECUADOR???
I love a football when it's a regual sport where win the best and where there's a little bit of justice. I'm disappointed for this world cup and now i've only one hope in my heart... AND I CRY WITH ALL MY VOICE....
SPAIN DESTROY KOREAN PLAYERS ON FIELD AND WIN THIS WORLD CUP 2002!!! I WANT JUSTICE, JUSTICE, JUSTICE!!!!!!!!
I hope SPAIN will avenge their Italian's cousins.
Sincerely, Wooƒer

i feel for you, wooferman.
the referees ARE bad, i mean, they are from countries like benin, maledives, ecuador, ie no football countries. perhaps easily bribable... the referee byron in the italy game vs korea made 'only' two mistakes: the red card for totti and the golden goal for italy.
i'm beginning to believe nacmat is right and korea have to go through to the final(?), but then again, hiddink is a marvellous trainer, very experienced.
i hope spain learn from this, though. they need more than 1 goal to defeat the koreans!!
the fifa always said they wanted more variation and surprise in the worldcup. well, they got it.
but woofer, don't zip your mouth :)

woofer:
you have reasons to feel that way...really itally has had such bad referees this world cup (5 goals denied, tottis exclussion...)
also brazil seems to have too much luck in that way.
anyway I think there is no conspiracy, its just that the referees are soo bad, with no personality, so they get influenced by certain teams (brazil) or certain ambient (korea fan´s support).
on the other hand Italy mad a big mistake... knowing that the referee can always do something like that...italy should have gone for the victory instead of keeping the 1-0. the same happened to spain against ireland (we almost loose cos we wanted to keep just that poor 1-0)
in my opinion trappatoni should havve taken more risks, this way if italy was 2-0, no matter what the referee decides cos you would have won.
I am sorry cos I wanted to see italy - spain
anyway I think spain was lucky cos italy is such a hard team to beat (not saying that korea isnt, but you know there is a diference)

IMPORTANT QUESTION:
what do you think of tv retransmition in the field??
everybody in the match can see the replay of the most controversial scenes in the match (remember trappatoni)
if that happened in a madrid - barça in spain, well that would be so dangerous.
I wouldnt like to end like other sports in which they have to stop the game everytime to see the tv replay... football is imperfect but this imperfection makes it bigger than any other sport

Nacmat, Spain must win!!! I'll support Spain with all my energies because I want JUSTICE!!!
Italy didn't play a great match but honestly played better than Korea, imo.
Trapattoni made much errors and he is for a fuckin' defense game, but Italy didn't deserve to back home. Yesterday it was an horrible show, we felt alone against all.
When you score a regular goal and referee denied it to you... oh guys, it's horrible, refeere break your heart. It could happen 1 or 2 times in a world cup but not 5 times and especially with a GOLDEN GOAL. The ppl that love this wonderful sport called FOOTBALL need justice and need to see great matches where win the best and not where win a referee from Ecuador.
I repeat that Italy didn't play very well and it was coward but anyway we didn't deserve to kick out from a fuck**°#!!@@!!"!!! referee that is only able to eat BURRITOS and drink CERVEZA.
IT'S A SHAME!!!

no, those screens in the stadium are censored now, because the audience would go nuts when they saw a dirty tackle or something. it was never done in europe precisely for this reason.
trappatoni had his own little tv, prolly wired through from a tv station.
