The Creature From the Black Lagoon - 6/10 - quite good for
the 50s. I like american women of the period. No matter who
they are, scientists, pilots, javelin throwers - they always
made perfect housewives, They tended to scream very often
however.

Canadian Bacon 3/5
-- Michael Moore's ridiculous fictional film is saved by
Alan Alda and some funny satire.

it's all a bit shit, but i keep mixing them up, the first
one was already a bit campy bad, maybe just try them: here
they keep rerunning all of them all the time

I agree with big. The first one was good enough for a kid,
but even as a kid I noticed that the next ones were a bit
shit, particularly third part (the bad guys came from
space).

apparantly end game is the fourth one, im always flipping
through the channels or drunk when im watching it and get
really confused because that guy from the series is in it
who i thought was duncan mcloud as well

offline obara from Utrecht on 2006-01-15 08:06 [#01819309]

yeah, end game is 4 - and the last one [hopefully]. all i
can remember from it was lots of memories/flashbacks. and
fighting. there was almost no [reasonable] plot.

anyway i'll watch part 1 [just to check how and why it all
started]

and maybe part 3 [for those guys from space, lol]

thanks again mr big and mr qrdl.

of how actually bad it is.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) - I'm still in the
process of aquiring knowledge about the not-so-important
period in the cinema that were the 50s, but at the moment I
can safely say this is the best Hollywood did in the
SF/horror departament. Great cast, engaging story and a good
score.
I don't get how they were taking over the bodies, though.
They weren't substituting them by the clones, were they? And
if the were not, what did they make the clones for? For me
it seemed like they had two concepts and they weren't able
to decide which one to choose.
Awaiting help on this one, for now - 8/10

Yes, absolutely. That would've been something
worthwhile at least.

I'm glad it was a downloaded version, or else I'd write
Michael Bay and demand my $4 back. That was the worst movie
I've seen since Armageddon.

Her knockers are particularly nice too.

Hmm... I suppose, depending on the duration of exposure,
those alone could've bumped it up to a 2 or 2.5 out of 5.
