I have entered a few as compilations. splits aren't that hard, I think. it's the fullblown comps that get me down - about 90% of the people on them will be new aliases. |

a spiffin' new problem - a new alias that I just entered won't show up in the alias pulldown menu. I tried deleting it and re-entering it - still no go. (and yes, I did reload the track-page after each time I entered the alias) |

it gets even weirder. I just added the alias "A Hawk And A Hacksaw" and that does show up in the pulldown menu. so I deleted "Kim Cascone" and re-entered it. and it still doesn't show up. |

sweet updates i'd volunteer to help but i don't think my scanner works. i just got a new computer (used) from a friend and i just tried getting my scanner to work on it. no avail. then i dropped it on my foot. it hurt. if i can figure out how to work these gadgets i could contribute some tim hecker to the discog. i have a somewhat rare release by him and all his normal releases. |

added a very obscure compilation (called "Digital Space Publication 1") containing a Team Doyobi track. I'd be very surprised if anyone has that cd-set.. also added and a Leaf compilation ("delivery room"). |

it's the only Prefuse I personally have (the the The Books the one) - that doesn't mean I couldn't add them, though. I think I added it more or less to make the the the The Books discog complete, less out of a Prefuse perspective. :P |

hey qrter i see you have zammuto listed in there and i'm assuming that was your work. did you order his stuff directly from the books? if so, are there little uncooked alphabet noodles in the cd cases? |

yes I ordered them from the Bookses online shop. there were some alphabet noodles in the Plate E.P. case, but not in the Solitaire case. I wanted to add them to the discog, but I didn't know if phobia would mind cd-rs being in the discog, but then I recently noticed that there is an option to choose "cd-recordable" in the medium-list. so I guess so. I had even done some research (based on info Peeps M. Fleetmouse gave me) on the origins of the cd-rs in the Solitaire set (two of the three having been actual records before on two different labels). |

yeah i remember seeing one of the discs from the solitaire set being on a label and for sale at boomkat. maybe they ran out of alphabet noodles at the time. i thought it was a neat little extra (and perhaps something to distinguish the real cd-r from any possible homemade copies) i just wish it came in a case that was suitable for more than one cd, but i could just go out and buy one anyway |

yeah, I wasn't very pleased he rammed 3 discs into one case. cd-rs can be pretty prissy and easily damaged. I put one of the discs in one of those little plastic covers. I'll enter them both tomorrow. for completenessesess. |

i think my alltime favorite addition to the format option list is "1xfrisbee". it is a disc, and even has a skam catalog number. can't go wrong. |
