XLT DISCOGRAPHY | UPDATES

Well, when I was a "newcomer" to be honest I confused the
double and triple releases too. I always wondered why there
were two version of widowlicker etc.. But now I think it is
perfect, so we can know if a determined release has more
than a version, if, for example, a cd is out also as vinyl
or as cassette etc.. Therefore totally agree, quality ahead
of quantity.

The fact we'll have 10 different ways of accessing
the discography and it will contain more than 10,000 pages
in Xltronic v2 is totally awesome, I'm starting to think the
xlt discoraphy will be the most complete and used on the net
because it will have a lot of details.

The things would become impossible to finish if all tracks
would be registered several times in different versions of a
single release indeed...

Anyway I'm really glad to hear that, I'm sure in the end it
will be an excellent work.

with the comment "Ripped by k_maty" in the ID tag.

Being that theres a new idm artist a day, what are the
criteria for artists you feature in your discography?

Oh and dont forget to add some fleetwood mac in your
database. Earthleakage would appreciate it.

dolleater:

priority list:
1) complete discography for our featured artists (which
today have expanded to around 20 artists)

2) complete catalogue for the following labels: warp, skam,
rephlex, planet-mu

3) anything else

the 'browse my recordbag' feature in the discography does
not work for me (the one where you can delete records
previously put in). i'm curious as to if this is a universal
thing or probably just my computer/browser setup.

i ask because i sold a bunch of cds a while back and i feel
like a big fat, fatty fat fat fat liar because i don't own
all the stuff in my bag.

That feature sometimes does work, sometimes doesn't. You may
try to do a thing, try everyday to click it.

Points: 14653 Status: Lurker | Followup to Phobiazero: #01810586

I used to click it and it worked but one day instead of
clicking "discuss this release" I had clicked "add this
release to your recordbag" for mistake, so I wanted to
remove that record from my recordbag and it didn't work. I
actually meant some day it did work and someday it didn't.

It really seems that the resurgence has ended, what about
breathing new life into the Discography once again?

Points: 6045 Status: Lurker | Followup to Phobiazero: #01810586

i figured out why it would not work for me.

when i clicked on the link i would get LAZY_TITLE (but
not always that release, just whatever release i was on to
go into my own bag) which would stay on the same page even
though it seemed to try and execute a .php thang

so i removed the midde part 'release/#####/' and left
LAZY_TITLE and it worked

are discography samples hard to prepare ?

those "samples - not available yet" captions look quite
lame.

question not only to Woofer, i'm just curious.
