adriano didn't do quite the best thing for him when he
wanted to score on his own..he's still young though, so he
will learn :)

and the second goal was obviously an offside.

offline DaggerHappy from Australia on 2006-06-27 09:59 [#01928169]

i din't see the second goal either :(, i was brushing my
teeth. but just now saw a replay, fucking offsides, again
the reffing at crucial moments is just disgusting, that was
very similar to how brazil score their second goal against
australia, but it came off the post.

ghana dominated that half. this is just outrageous. soccer
isn't a fair representation of which team plays best.

that unlucky header from ghana that the goal keeper had no
idea about.

Points: 662 Status: Lurker

yeah, adriano definatly should have passed. there was a
player just acorss who would've had an open net. he was
looking to perform the ronaldo from 40 minutes before but
failed and went for the last nights italy instead. but he
got a yellow for simulation.

"ghana dominated that half. this is just outrageous. soccer

you're kidding right?

no
i'm sick of seeing australia lose because the refs fuck them
over. it happened in all their games, except japan where
they over came it. and that offside decision just put the
game out of reach to ghana

i've only really watched soccer during this world cup and
it's an absolute joke.

i dunno, the last half was actually pretty even, ghana
looked a bit better to me but i switched on about 10 mins
in.

brazil plays as good as they have to. they came here to win
the cup and it would be silly if they showed all their
strength right away. germans did the same really..score
couple of quick goals against sweden and then controlled the
game. im sure either of them could score more if they needed
to.
im not saying ghana plays bad btw, they're pretty excellent,
especially for a team first time in world cup.

australia had bad luck yesterday..many refs wouldn't call
that a penalty, but some would.

easy one for brazil again. too bad ghana had to face them
this soon, because they played very nice in previous
matches.

do you ever play sports?!!!?!?!
in a football game you can't play "as good as you need to"
(unless your oponent really really really sux).

are you saying showing your strenght is an strategic
error?!?

brazil simply has had it easy so far.

spain was a better team, right? :)

offline OK on 2006-06-27 14:53 [#01928381]

not in this match. even tho france's second goal came from
a non existant fault and it was completly circunstantial.
but spain couldn't score a goal so i guess it's fair.

it's a shame because brazil has it easy still.

brazil may have quite a bit of trouble with france. france
isn't one of those teams that is easily broken down..they're
very solid on the field.

awesome 1/4s'; germany-argentina and france-brazil. awesome
stuff now.

I read your last post I checked out on yahoo and I realized
that France actually won. I hope you can forgive me because
being harsh in that way you know it's not my style mate.

its really sad for us spaniards how we never achieve any
good result in the worldcups

It's ok Ignacio. I'm pretty sure we italians will not go
that far either. We'll see anyway, I've already organized a
party with my friends friday night, to see what Italy does
:)

spain seems to get sort of nervous when they play an
important match against a good team..they would need someone
to really pull the whole team into a fight but they don't
have such player. it used to be hierro or guardiola..or
enrique. even raul used to be much more of a fighter - maybe
he still is but not as much in the national team as in real.
they are a very young team with lots of good young players
though..so sooner or later their luck will come :)

france-brazil will be spectacular..can't wait for this..i
haven't yet decided who i will support. i think i'll just
enjoy the football no matter who wins :)

My prediction is for England to perform well now they really
have to, Portugal will be close but England should win.

I fancy Brazil to win against France, I think it will be a
close game though, Brazil have been extremely dissapointing
so far and i am shocked they have an overweight forward
playing!

Italy, well its easy for them in the next game. They are a
strong side and i think they will go far, so long as their
forwards start performing. Looking forward to an Argentina -
Italy semi final!

For the final i think England - Argentina, what a final that
would be!

I honestly don't think Brazil are the force they used to be.
Against Ghana the amount of space they gave forwards would
go punnished against better sides. If England got to play
against Brazil i don't think it would be too difficult to
beat them, And usually i don't think England have a chance,
but for once i think we have a solid team in all areas,
apart from Beckham.

i just read christiano ronaldo was approached by a real
madrid potential president..why would real need another
striker??
they need some player to replace zidane..maybe kaka would be
an option if milan gets in too much trouble because of that
affair :)

also, pessotto apperantly tried to commit a suicide!? wtf
