I hope everything goes well with Germany, we should win
theoretically. I wouldn't really know for France and
Portugal, that's gonna be an interesting match for sure.

score goals.

you saw what zidane is doing right? how he passes to
henry..that's what ronaldinho and kaka should be doing for
ronaldo but you didn't see any of those passes there..it
just didn't work. oh well, it might be the last chance for
france to become champions for quite a while so im very
happy :)

this is another great aspect of brazilians..after the match
most players simply said france was a better side. you
normally don't hear that from the losing side as most of
them say they didn't desrve to lose and blah blah..here are
some comments;

RONALDO (BRA)
I’m very sad, very disappointed with this defeat. We had
plans to go much further, but it didn’t happen. France
were the better team, and when all’s said and done,
that’s football. We are proud of how we battled and what
we sacrificed in order to get this far. France didn’t
surprise us. We knew that they were a great team, and they
showed that. They played great football, intelligent
football that got the better of us.

JUNINHO (BRA)
There’s no point looking around for excuses. France played
better than us. They didn’t have a lot of chances, and
their goal came from a set-piece, but once they scored it
was very difficult for us to turn it round. I think that the
team as a whole didn’t play well tonight. Robinho made a
difference when he came on, and he tried to give us a lift,
but now we have to accept the criticism and start to get the
young players ready for the next World Cup. We didn’t play
as Brazil can.

maybe a striker has to move to create spaces so that the
ball goes to the empty space, and then the striker runs to
get to the ball

and not just wait till the ball arrives while he drinks some
whisky

maybe henry moves more than ronaldo

oh, and I agree, ronaldinho did a shit worldcup

anyway he did a great season for barça, and he showed to be
the best in the world... at least in 2005-2006

I have never heard player saying that the team who won
didn't deserve it. I try not to focus on anything that
football players say or do, but I'm pretty sure that this is
a rare case.

qrdl i never said anything like that.

also, it may well happen i won't be so fond of real madrid
in the new season. apperantly fabio cappello will take over
and surely he will bring some players from juventus..i fear
one of them might be the ibrahimovic prick :( :(

I didnt see the portugal-england match and I dont want to
read through the thread... any summary of it, as it a fair
result? controversy?

appart from rooney going off in 62 minute or something like
that, everything seemed normal..they played pretty equally.
when rooney did that foul, cristiano ronaldo rushed to the
ref and was asking for a red card. dunno if rooney would get
it otherwise or not, but that was a mean foul so he deserved
it..as for the penalties..i guessed all 4 english strikers,
because those 4 normally shoot the best..and well, only one
of them managed to score. but yeah, if rooney wasn't put out
it could be different maybe.

that brazil/france game was a great one. I'm glad France
won, and now I pick them as the overall winners. Zidane is
just a great player to watch, and with henry up front
they're always exciting to watch.

but you find what ronaldo did acceptable?

it's what some kids act like..tell a teacher on someone..i
can understand that with kids, but for a guy like
ronaldo..it's just pathetic and he deserves a kick in the
nuts.

WE MUST WIN!

if anyone asks, i'm cheering for Germany, France and
Portugal ... because i've put the hex on pretty much every
team i've cheered for except for the ones i am so accustomed
to being let down by... funny that.

i don't get why people are making such a big deal about
Cristiano Ronaldo... players do shit like that all the time.
everyone does that. if a Portuguese player had sacked and
English dude and Rooney was right there, do you honestly
think he wouldn't have said something to the ref? and
furthermore, do people really think that Ronaldo's plea had
that much to do with the fact that Rooney got sent off? i
find that sort of farfetched. i mean whether he really
deserved to be sent off is another matter entirely, but
Ronaldo seems like little more than a convenient scapegoat.

at any rate this world cup can now officially be considered
a success in my books because Brazil won't be winning.

out probably and not run to the ref like a little baby :)
