aw nacmat... you're just trying to cover for spain in
advance in case spain loses ;)

no really, ireland are ok, but no match for the espanoles.
if spain scores early in the game, ireland will have to
attack, and that's something they're bad at.

I am really covering my back cos look what happened to those
thinking themselves their were the best...

if spain scores first...( camerun and germany did and
ireland finally scored)

oh come one! you have raul! he'll show those pesky irish :)

besides, spain may be one of the favourites, the odds are
against them. their best result ever on a world cup was
what? quarter finals in 1954 or something? you have nothing
to lose.

and another thing, you have raul!!

first half:

portugal 0 - 0 korea
poland 2 - 0 USA

if poland keeps that advantage then I bet portugal and korea
will make it up to keep the draw

Quernstone>
Italy played poorly, have a weak midfield, and are picking
up yellow cards for cheating (diving)...

You scrape through with fortune because Croatia lost..

..And now you're going straight to the final.
This arrogance is really annoying ! and your suggestion that
England is going out is a bit presumptuous. Everyone here
expects a tight game against Denmark, 50:50. Maybe even
penalties... we shall see :)

You said:
"Italy played poorly, have a weak midfield, and are picking

up yellow cards for cheating (diving)...

I say:

Spain 1982

Italy-Poland=0-0
Italy-Perù=1-1
Italy-Cameron=1-1

Italy qualified only for one goal, they played really bad,
awful team.

...but then...

Italy-Argentina=2-1
Argentina-Brasil=1-3
Italy-Brasil=3-2 (with a regular goal denied)

...then... semifinals
Italy-Poland=2-0
Germany-France=6-5 (after penalties)

Final
ITALY-GERMANY=3-1 (with an penalty's error of Cabrini)

*** ITALY WORLD'S CHAMPION ***

Final WooÆ’er's consideration: Qualifications aren't so
important for determine who is strong and who isn't
strong... the real match are in the 8/final, 4/final,
semifinals and final.
Everything can change and the history of football teach
these things to us, everyday.

Anyway I hope ENGLAND will reach final 'cos I like the
english football.

woofer>
Good point
I think Big sides improve as it gets nearer the final, and
Italy are now favourites again to reach the final.
I think they have a better chance than England. Although it
will hurt, unless England score tomorrow then we really do
not deserve to qualify... Denmark will be tough like Sweden
were.

its funny cos korea and USA had a political problem, and usa
is in there thanks to korea.

besides, usa is not as good as mexico (which are playing
great) but it wouldnt be that strange at this point to see
usa in the 1/4 finals.

germany will sufer to beat paraguay
if they pass then they will suffer even more to beat mexico.
