we have a stripped version of our discography online.

xltronic discography

notes:
basically it's just up there to give you a taste of what's
really coming. but for now, expect dead links, missing
tracks, missing samples, missing covers, missing ALOT - but
for GODS sake enjoy the monster!

only tracks and releases are working right now to be honest.

It's looking real good -- in depth ! I was going to rate a
track, but I wasn't sure if it would work :D

well...

I know how it is doing these *big* things, and actually I
usually think it's so damn boring around maybe 70%... I mean
when you get up to 90% or something you're so close, but
70%, you've done so much but still isn't close to complete.

anyway. good work. and keep it up. don't stop because of the
70's.

actually, we're only around 5% now.

I was talking about the completition in %... When you've
done 70% of the work, it's boring. when you've done 100%
though, you're satisified as hell (if you did good work).

it's true. imagine to add all the samples and all the
liveshows, videos, lyrics, scans, biographies, interviews,
articles, contests, user art, user tracks....... the list is
VERY long.

oh =/

Well I hope you don't get tired of it during the process...
If you ever feel tired of working on it, just upload another
preview/stripped version... I'm sure some of the good
comments you get will keep the spirit up!

and I might just aswell add that what you're doing is
important, and I really appriciate all the work everybody
involved has put down on this site.

so... what does this offer us? The purpose is to be able to
buy the music here? Or just to provide the information of a
bunch of artists and labels to make their existence known?
If the latter is the case, google is full of discographies
already. One merely has to browse warp or schematic or any
other page about this type of music and find links to other
artists/labels.

Ok. I guess it could grow and build on itself into something
even more useful and specific, something google wouldn't be
able to do. For example you could eventually program some
sort of rating system based on the opinions of trusted
peers. If person A and person B both like music artists 1,
2, and 3, then their recommendations of more obscure artists
would likely be helpful toward eachother.

I, for example, would not trust nacmat's ratings, heh heh.
Or titsworths.. I'd have to weed through all that most def
spam to get clic's and korben dallas's recommendations.

I didn't look at it long enough before I responded. So I
figured I'd add yet another bulky reply to this thread to
write that I think it is neat that you can listen to
the tracks.
