ok, i have demos done of rdj and jenkinson, still working on
paradinas.

they are in final fantasy 16-bit style.

they're cute, if anyone wants to take a look. too bad i'm
poor and don't have full member priveledges, or i'd post em.
:(

Lol. He could have a spell called Aphex Acid and when he has
an enemy he could say 'here have some Aphex Acid'. And throw
an acid spell at them and they melt away at the same time
with some blistering acid noises going on in the background.
The whole idea sounds like a great idea. I mean Wu-Tang did
a game and that was damm funny. Why not Aphex?

Like he could try and get rid of really nutty fans in the
game. Like a loony fan could be a boss at the end of the
level, you know a real obsessive pysho fan. Lol.

The loony fan could keep saying 'Aphex I luv you'. Lol. And
he could be firing off his spells. Lol.

before he is about to pull of a loony move. Lol.

well, i'm a digital arts major and have shitloads of drawing
experience, plus i have a few pages worth of concept art for
my friend and me's version of the rdj rpg. oh yeah, we were
going to turn it into a comic book. it was tight. rdj has to
travel through time a la chrono trigger. he goes back to
when hes twelve, workin on SAW 85-92. he meets "daddy" in
1998, and he has to stop the destruction of the planet in
the year 2004, which is when the phantom richard james
(aphex's dead brother) comes back to life. in our plotline,
the two twins were seperated at birth and only reunited can
they stop the world from destruction. tom jenkinson, mike
paradinas, and boards of canada are initial party members.
read my earlier posts for more details.

oh yeah, we had something in our version where you fight
thom yorke. no real reason, we just thought it was funny. we
had already made an aphex sprite and a squarepusher sprite,
and we had a u-ziq one on the way, although it was pretty
lame, just a mu symbol with a guys legs. of course, the
artist names are like summon spells, so mike paradinas can
"summon" u-ziq, who then has spells based on song names,
album titles, etc.

Sounds a bit shite. The game needs to be silly. I think he
needs to start in Cornwall and progress his way to London.

For instance you could have the Hackney incident where he
has to deal with 'nasty neighbours' who don't like his loud
music. Mind you I wouldn't appreciate loud music either but
thats beside the point. That would be funny.

i think the battles would be a bit more interesting in a
Phantasy Star IV style, that would make them a bit more
dynamic. But that's my opinion. :D

OMG I did it.

This is sort of a sample sequence - where i added some
enemies, a spell, a photo for background, some menus, using
tibbar's character models. quite interesting.

I think the enemies should be able to counter RDJ's new song
weapons by calling them shite and accusing RDJ of becoming
lazy and selling out.

RDJ unleashes AMBIGUOUS NOISE TRACK!!!

Snot-nosed pretentious teen-age monsters are un-impressed
and take 0 damage

well i'm a bit too busy to be in charge of it - what we need
is someone who can run the whole thing and keep people
organized.... let's see.... who's willing to help and how?

Zaphod - Design (Programming?)
Me - Design
Tibbar - Design and Sprites
Aquagak - Undetermined
Skeptopotamus - Programming (Coding / Engine Design?)
Jaroen - Programming

and that's what we have so far apparently....

Just dont slack off and let the game fall into another void

have detailed experience with, but i'm good for anything.

wicked - the engine itself IS half the work, so that can
actually be quite useful for us. anyways, i think we should
take our time with it obviously.... find a new place to host
it....
