Statistically, by now, its bound to have happened to a
couple members if not more. What about those members that
just stop posting. Albeit many of them just move on. But
some of them just dissapear.

This place has changed. A lot of the old members aren't here
anymore. People still take it way too seriously.

I remember a year or so back there was this thing about this
girl who used to be a member here, and then one day she
leaves a couple messages about some other old member of this
board that she had gotten married to, and now he has become
wierd and abusive. A lot of the darkness of the real world
doesn't translate well through text. And in some ways, the
people that are least in touch with what is real translate
much brighter in messageboards.

spooky.

it would be nice to do a compilation for k-maty... like one
minute tracks from members.

just a thought.

Well, they could always put together an XLTronic Vibes cd
dedicated to it. But then the risk of a lot of the less
talented people making songs and hoping to get recognized,
and only tainting the offering we would have for his family.
Although it would kind of be a mishmush of good and crap,
which is kind of the perfect analogy for this messageboard.

RIP K_maty.

Words are never enough in this situation.

A cousin whom I was very close to took his life some years
ago. He was the first, though sadly not the last, friend of
mine to commit suicide. Having lived through this sort of
thing too many times already, my deepest sympathies at this
time are with Kevin's family and close friends.

can't imagine how he must have been feeling.

I hope he is in a better place now.

I think it would be right for Xltronic members to dedicate
some music to him.

that's a lovely tune, man!

for some reason, I instantly got the notion that it needed
some microbeats, so I got to it, but I'm not sure what the
result will be yet.

I wish I had it in me right now to create a melody for
k_maty only, but they all come out weird and not.. good.

It would be a nice idea to send his Grandfather a print out

I felt awful for a while then. I didn't mean to cause any
offence to anyone, sorry If I have. I just thought that
K_Maty obviously loved music and hanging out here and just
wanted to pay tribute.

I would want to do the same for anyone on this board, as I
regard you all as friends and people with at least one
shared passion in life.

I agree with both of your statements.

Now that i thought about it a bit more there is nothing
wrong with tributes at all. They happen all over the world
when occasions like this occur. Its out of respect. Its out
of emotion.

Kevin was a great person. I think its Ok to pay homage to
him.

Of course it is, I think arf was just concerned people would
start jumping in this thread spamming their latest track
that they hastily stamped as a k_maty tribute.

i'd be very surprised if people tried to used this as an
opportunity to spam their music by hastily labeling their
latest track a tribute to kevin.
