audio.

God damn, k_maty was a rare individual.

maybe there is a way to let the family know, in some
non-intrusive way, that he was appreciated by a lot of
people online, as well?

Maybe suicide allowed him to overcome misery. Maybe he's
"happier" now.

Everyone posting here will be dead in a matter of time. He
just got a head start is all. RIP.

I wasn't trying to be disrespectful, just looking on the
bright side that death isn't necessarily a negative thing.
If he *wanted* it and was able to get it, it might have been
a *good* thing (for him). If anything ailed him, it can no
longer. I hardly knew him and should't post anymore in this
thread.

jesus... from what I saw he never seemed too emotionally
unstable on XLT (not that XLTronic is the pinnacle of
emotional expression or anything close), but it's awful that
someone as cool (and young) as kevin felt that the only
solution to his problems was to take his own life.

I'm not one for prayer, but if there is a life after this
one, I hope from the bottom of my being that kevin is out
there somewhere shouting "for K_maty only!"

i dont know if this is right, but given the talent on this
board, can we release some music in his honor, in his name?
I, for one, would have appreciated the gesture given the
circumstances.

Hmm, I had been working on a track called For "K_maty Only

track, or would it be a fitting tribute?

up to you really. it would be a nice notion for his family
and those of us who respected him. but that means you really
gotta put some tears into the composition.

or, you could just scrap it and we could all listen to 'of
one source all things depend' simuntaniously.

Well, in case anybody is interested, I tracked down a list
of his last 25 posts.

LAZY_25

Anytime a member of any community dies, it always kind of
sets a shock. I can't say I remember many of the things the
guy said, but he seemed nice most of the time.

I am shocked.. I can't claim to have known him very well at
all but this new still saddens me deeply and my thoughts are
with him and his family.

I would just like to post here to pay my respect at this
tragedy. The community has lost an integral member.

if you're using tears as a metaphor for making a sad song, I
don't think it would have to be that.. of course, it
couldn't be a happy happy pink pop song, but it wouldn't
have to be really really sad either... as long as it's good
(happy happy pink pop songs aren't), it should be enough.
