Burn After Reading 10/10

at Mubi (all Coen bros films porbably are. don't think i've
seen them all)

Both these movies are lower 10s then for instance Ghost Dog.
(had to think about that because i saw Dead Man). i would
give that an 11 if i was allowed to

some of the latest big screen adventures:

Mad Max Fury Road (9) (just works visually and pace!)
Beverly Hills Cop 2 (8) (still cracking me up)
Venom (7)
MiB 4 (6)
Desperados (8) (dialogue! lol)
13th warrior (7) (too brutal tho)
Great Wall (close 7) (its watchable eastern)
Finding Forrester (9) (love stories like that)
Repo Man (7 Yes!)
a bit boring at times, cause its trash from the stone ages,
but there is just some hilarious unique moments
and i wouldnd want to miss it for the world
Lonely Planet (7) if you like romance and artists
Where the crawdads sing (8/9)
(i may be biased because i really liked the novel,
which was grittier and way more intense at times,
the movie probably wouldnt have made me write
a single sentence about it.
any way good story, great read,
id recommend to read the book first
cause the supsension and details come across better
and its a short read too, read it in a few days.
thought about it a lot.

(theres just not much good fantasy around)
gladiator 1 (8) its more than the action
magic crystal (6) fantasitc kung fu scene with umbralla!
road house 10 (original)
gremlins (8) should be taught in film school for gaffers
the blob (7) (the 80s version, still alright)
vanishing point (10)

no. it's small vignettes about the human condition. a laugh
and a tear

best two movies on mubi, for me, were Gränze and How to
Have Sex

i see,
nice to have a movie like that every once in a while.
people who commute, go out, work in publlic or as vendors
should collaborate on films to portray actual life,
self centeredness, violence, racism,
how people deal with conflict/criticism in general.
theres a lot to learn and a lot to laugh.

ill look up the other two
