i don't practice religious worshiping of one of my pagan
gods by creating remixes... i'd rather listen to their stuff
than try and come up with something that appeals to the gods
& to a mass audience

but...you could have one the boards and autechre's most

i dig that. to me remixin ae is a bit stupid since you're
pretty sure that the remix won't be half as good as the
original track... then again i love the plaid vletrmx remix.

I think the assumption about remixing shouldn't really be to
be better than the original track - just to make it your
own.

> I think the assumption about remixing shouldn't really be

true, but can't stop thinking it'll be uninteresting
comparing to the original...

I like mine although I wish I would've taken time to do
two.

I am listening to it now for the first time in a while. It
sounds a lot better now coming back to it than it did right
after working on it.

to check through... :)
I am at the very beginning, but got the feeling it will be
very very hard to choose the 15 best. They are all sooo
good.

Crappy translation

"The WARP-fanatics over at xltronic.com are arranging a
autechre remix. In the prize pot are two copies of the rare
"Legofeet" 12 , the first record to ever come out on SKAM
(and the rumour says Autechre is behind this release)
The first record goes to the winner of "Peoples choice" ,
probably voted by the xltronic.com visitors. The winner in
the second kategory will be chosen by Autechre themself who
will be listening to the kvalified entries. Aparently theres
a slight chance that competition entries will end up on
future Autechre releases but that statement should probably
not be taken too seriously."

Warp fanatics? Assholes! =)
