If it would've kept up momentum and not ended so abruptly,
it could've been gunning for a 4.

shame MiramAxe forced the director to cut Hero down to 1hr
38 mins, hollywood can't keep their grubby hands off foreign
films.

Harry Knowles at AICN seems to think that Miramax have done
a good job with Hero, and he's usually very critical of
their treatment of foreign language films.

Spiderman 2 4/5
Rushmore 4/5
Scary Movie 3 1/5
Underworld 3/5
Return Of The Jedi DVD version 4/5
(original version 10/5 !!)

Scary movie 3 , i was gonna give it 0 points but i gave it 1
just because Liam Nelson was in it =)

George Lucas keeps destroying his classics even more , look
out for Young Annakin SKywalker as a force ghost at the end
of the movie . And the stormtroopers now have a kiwi accent
as if the accent of Jango Fett was a genetic heritage thing.

Stupid idiot George fuckin Lucas!!! * pukes*
I still gave it 4/5 though cause you know....its return of
the fucking Jedi!!

Nosferatu

*****

The Werner Herzog version starring Klaus Kinski. Really neat
atmosphere here, very odd representation of the vampire.
He's pathetic. Might be my favorite of all the Bram Stoker
adaptations.

Okay, what's up with this /5 rating thing?

3/5 = 60%
BUT

* * * * *

3, is the middle star.

/10 is so much more intuitive, after all, we have 10
fingers, not 5.

Open Range 3/5

It was an ok western. Good gunfights , eventhough the guns
sounded like the canons of a 400 ton battle ship but thats
hollywood for ya. Robert Duvall is always good.

I Robot 3/5

Better then i had expected eventhough the story was
predictable and the robots didn't look very real (nor did
the cars or anything CGI related) .
Will Smith wasn't overacting as much as he usualy does and
there where some really cool matrix type of action scenes
here and there.

I thought that film started out OK and there was a some

Interesting. I haven't seen the original, only the
Soderbergh version and I gave that 5/5. Had I used the /10
scale it would have been 10/10. As close to a flawless film
as I have seen in a long time.

Speaking of 5/5 films, I've just read that Lars Von Trier
and Jorgen Leth's 'The Five Obstructions' is being put
forward for the best foreign language film Oscar by the
Danish film industry.

If you haven't seen this, pre-order the DVD now. Definitely
worth it if you're really into cinema.

Its an OK movie.

Am i the only one who thinks Riccis best performance is from
"The Adams Family" when she was 8 or something ?
I remember i was amazed of her performance there , she was
so stone cold and cute and lovable at the same time .

Saw about a third of AvP.. from what I saw 2/5. Probably
would've ended up a 1/5 (0/5 being the lowest).

Caught the end of Breakfast at Tiffany's.. wasn't paying
much attention to anything but Hepburn.
