Light of Day 4/5

An old mIcheal j fox and joan jett rock and roller from the
late 80's, really touching shit man... at the end when joan
jetts charecter is wispering into her mother ear while she
is being treated for cancer... brought tears to my eyes....
i wish this film would have been edited much better though,
they had some good stuff on their hands...

adaptation - 2/10
what a self indulgent load of tripe. i love eternal
sunshine, like being john malkovich, but this is pure shit
from kaufman and a director who can do a bit better.

russian flick called
Марш-
Бросок

0/10

one of those flicks which are made to show the army as a
very good place. It's also racist. It shows russian soldiers
as supermen, who can easily escape Georgian captivity,
machinegun all the village, being the only persons whose
bullets go to where they have to.
This whole shite is accompanied by music of early
Schshchschchwarzenegger action flicks style.

I remember now when in school our history teacher said that
US made action films to influence young people who don't
want to fight because of hippie phylosophy. Now russia makes
such films to influence badly educated young russians.

People who make such movies are fucking goats, with shit in
their heads

--
You are lucky cause you won't see this movie in your whole
life.

neat. drug infested melo-dramatic occurence of the
underground lives of "club kids"

Mcauley Caulkin(sp?) was ok, Seth Green was alright. I just
thought it was neat to see DJ Keoki in it.

"The Tuskegee Airmen"

+ Excellent subject matter
+ Well executed characters (Good performance by Laurence
Fishbourne)

- Hasty pacing
- Low productions values (sort of ironic)

Reccomended

i just watched a film with nick cage (whom i totally hate),
but i was intrigued when i read the plot...anyway, he was
investigating people involved in filming snuff films, and i
was quite surprised to hear 'come to daddy' play in one of
those films :)

Layer Cake

Saw it last night.

Not too bad. Quite a well made film with some nice camera
and audio touches. Enjoyable. Not one to shout about but if
you're considering watching it then do so :)
