It's very good... but only if you don't mind slow paced
films that make you think. If thats a Lain avatar I think
you'd love it.

I'm really happy about how much exposure this film got. I
was expecting it to be successful but only as far as with
English audiences.

Hell, i hated that film but i'm still not entirely sure why.
It just felt really wooden, even though the acting wasn't
all that bad. I can't describe it.

Oh yeh, i watched pulp fiction for about the millionth time
tonight. It's still "Great sale would watch film again
A+++++". Five out of five for shure.

I think part of it may have to the writer (Se7en's Andrew

screenplay himself.

Alien vs. Predator : -10 / 10

I want Paul Anderson's head on a plate. The film? Obviously
made for 12 year olds by a 12 year old in the body of a
middle aged man. He hasn't studied the material. In the 4
alien films each director adds a new element to the creature
itself. The same goes for Predator. Anderson makes no
contribution, in fact he strips the basic elements from his
film - incubation time, relative speeds of the 3 species,
effect of Alien acid, etc etc... leaving nothing but cheese
and kind of elements that mindless 13 year old townies will
go 'woooaaa' at.

If Anderson thinks he can hide all this behind cheap matrixy
camera sweaps and 'cool' (read dire) action sequences he's
much mistaken.

Which version of the Grudge, 'Buffy: The Grudge'? The
orginal's story was decent enough if you can understand
whats going on, I think 'the grudge' is the second in a
series of movies so I guess it would be better to have
watched that first.

The trailer to 'house of flying daggers' was on before
Oldboy, does anyone know what song is played during the
trailer (uk version)? I know its Lisa Gerrard, just not sure
what song it is. The film looks amazing too, one of the most
impressive trailers i've seen anyway, perfect mix of imagery
and sound.
