DIDNT GET THIS FROM THE MOVIE!

I DO CARE ABOUT EVERYONE-EVERY KIND OF PEOPLE AND IF MY
COUNTRY DIDNT THEY WOULDNT BE THERE GIVING THOSE PEOPLE
FREEDOM LIKE THEY DID AND NOW THAT THEY HAVE THEY HAVE
TURNED AGAINST THOSE SOLDIERS TRYING TO KILL THEM THATS WHY
THERE'S MORE CHAOS. THOSE SOLIDERS SHOULD GET OUT OF THERE
AND LET THOSE PEOPLE KILL EACH OTHER.

I HAVE HEART YOUR-READ MY POST BEFORE CALLING ME A BITCH.

This is the best argument they can come up with?

Bush & co. are in real trouble.

i'm not trying to convert anybody into seeing moore as a
discredited left wing buffoon. thats my personal view along
with hundereds of thousands of other americans. another
thing if someone feels my opinion isn't creidble due to the
fact i have not seen his ridiculous movie you are gravely
mistaken. first off i've seen interviews of him to know very
well his political stance. he is for lack of a better word a
communist, his hate towards western society is obvious. i
dont need to go watch his movies to know what the movie
entails. its like someone getting angry at you because you
didnt stick your hand in a box fulls of snakes, knowing what
the outcome of sticking your hand in there would do. do you
think its a coincidence he released the movie a few months
before the upcoming elections? come on. moore is a
mastermind in diception. he passes the line of dissention
and crosses into the realm of unpatriotism. all i'm asking
is for people to read the article so they can obtain an
understanding of both sides. i will go watch his movie
eventually but for free. theres no way i'm supporting him.
for now i will be sufficiently happy knowing the lies he's
been caught in "by reading" not watching a purely biased
movie. i need to read both sides of the argument and so far
he has not impressed me with his side of the story.

wow..
you really DO have quite a loose grip on what's going on out
there don't you.
now, i don't claim to have all the details.. but you might
like to know that there's not just ONE kind of person in
iraq. amazingly enough, not all brown people are the same.
they don't all think the same, act the same or believe in
the same things.
it's when you start to make sweeping generalisations like
this about complex social, notional and political
groups/divides that things tend to get a bit fucked up.

to paraphrase, you seem to think that america went in there
with the best intentions to bring freedom to the people of
iraq; only now that they have, the ungrateful iraqis have
turned against the US and are trying to kill them.
am i right?

now, this is in NO WAY a defence of sadaam hussain - but one
thing that he did do throughout his dictatorship - was rule
with such an iron fist that he kept his country more or less
at peace. the people that died, died because of his regime.
but that same regime was so totalitarian that the warring
factions within iraq were unable to fight one another.

how unbelievably naieve of the american government & it's
military to think it could go in and remove saddam's reigime
WITHOUT unleashing a hornets nest.

THAT is what's going on out there. funnily enough, there's
not just 'them' & 'us'. it would be a lot simpler if that
was the case.

now, i don't know what picture your news paints for you, but
(and i try to read/listen to as many different news sources
as i can in order to get a broad overview of what might be
happening in the world) whenever there are soundbytes from
iraqi civilaians, they are ALL saying something different.
some love what the americans have done but want them out of
their country as soon as possible. others think the US
troops are still doing a good job. some people wish they'd
never come because of all the damage, death & destruction
they've seen - though they're still glad that saddam has
gone. and some want their old dictator back.

did you know o'reilly asked moore how much tax they should
enforce to someone like him. 70%! hahhah that means for
every dollar someone like o'reilly makes he'd have to pay 70
cents! hahhaah

Children Talking, I urge you to go and see it.

It's like when the KKK go on Jerry Springer and the audience
shouts them down. For your own sake become informed about
the view and rational of those who you oppose.

I would respect your arguments much more if you would see
the other side of the coin once in a while.

Know your enemy.

No, thats not what I'm saying. i am saying it did happen
that way, but that wasnt Bush's intentions, he had other
intentions to invade countries because he know he can. Youre
making me sound as if I'm a Bush supporter, and im offended

On the subject of Patriotism:

Being patriotic is about wanted the best for you fellow
countrymen and not bending to the will of the government.
Moore in my oppinion is more patriotic than most because in
he feels that it is in his countrys best interest to
question what he sees to be bad leadership.

There is a thin line between patriotism and nationalism.
Children Talking from the way you are speaking I would say
you are the later.

so before you say we should just let 'them' all kill one
another, remember that the iraqi's are just like you and the
people who live in your town, your state and your country.
they're all difficult.
i'm sure you hate it when people make sweeping
generalisations about 'americans' - so don't be too hasty to
do the same about other.

now, i'm in no way happy with the unilateral way in which
bush went into iraq. nor the way he went about waging his
war. nor am i happy with the way the armed forces have
conducted their peacekeeping operation thus far.

but to pull out entirely is just another ignorant, crass
insult to a country that has been turned upside down in the
last year or so.

unfortunately for everyone caught in the crossfire,
unlawfully killed, arrested, emprisoned, tortured, raped and
mentally scarred (on both sides) the situation has not
reached a point of no return yet - when staying is certain
to be worse than leaving. so i guess they have to try and
finish what they started - for better or worse.

the "brown people" comment was intended as a little friendly
poke at how naieve you seem in what is quite a serious
point.

if you stopped reading youll have missed the fact that i
pointed out that things in iraq DID NOT happen as you seem
to think they did:

"one thing that saddam hussain did do throughout his
dictatorship - was rule with such an iron fist that he kept
his country more or less at peace. the people that died,
died because of his regime. but that same regime was so
totalitarian that the warring factions within iraq were

WITHOUT unleashing a hornets nest.
THAT is what's going on out there. funnily enough, there's
not just 'them' & 'us'. it would be a lot simpler if that
was the case."

now, feel free to keep your eyes and ears closed if you
wish.
if it helps you cope with how horrific the situation out
there in iraq has been, is, and may continue to be to lump
all it's inhabitants together under one convenient banner,
then go ahead.

if you're fucking around - then that's fine.

it just worries me that some people actually think that the
US went in and cleanly deposed a regime - and that it's
actually a SURPRISE that there's civil unrest now.
not everyone was oppressed by saddam. some people prospered
under him. same with every regime/government.

but you can't go in to 'rescue' an nation and then back off
and let the people you supposedly set out to free die when
you realise that not everyone's going to welcome you with
open arms.

theres a difference between calling someone naieve and
calling them a prick.

and if you think i'm enough of a fucking retard to actually
refer to iraqis as "brown people" on any serious level -
then i'm astounded.

1) Re: you having a high opinion of people..
Sorry, sarcasm again. I meant LOW opinion.
The reason I posted that was because you said:
"I never spot jokes/sarcasm online....im used to people
being
dicks assholes and ignorant fucks so i read it all that
way"
ok?

2) yes, a lot of people died on 9/11. yes a lot of people
have died, are dying and will die in iraq. but i still don't
see the connection you were trying to make. the statement
was arbitrary.

President Bush has put forth sound economic and agricultural
policies that allow farmers and ranchers to save, invest and
plan for the future. this policy contrasts kerry's record
which would raise taxes and create unwanted regulation that
would prevent strong and sustained growth. bush has never
wavered in his support for rural america. john kerry has
cast erroneous votes that would have raised our taxes,
prevented us from passing land on to future generations, and
missed votes that would have created a sensible energy plan.
i also believe he's done and will do a better job at
fighting terrorism than senator kerry, and the list goes
on...

terrorist? err... he's not the one beheading contractors and
civilians. bush just handed sovereignty to iraq, and if the
iraqi gov't now wants us off their land we have to in an
instant. currently they will not want us out of their land
because they're under war with the 'actual' terrorists. let
me make this clear again the u.s. is now there with the
permission of the Iraqi government, which could technically
kick us out at any time. Before the 28th, they couldn't,
therefore it was an occupation.
