also, the production is a bit "thin" sounding. even if it is unmastered. I'm on track 4 now. still convinced that it is fake. but track 4 sounds a bit more like autechre. |

I'm kinda thinking The Flashbulb has made this. didn't he make that fake aphex track Bumble Fuck? well somehow this reminds me of that. I could be completly wrong though. but the production is what it gives away for me that it isn't autechre. it sounds too software-ish and clean. autechre doe sound somewhat "warm" because they use quite allot of hardware. I could be completly wrong though |

hmm the funny thing is that to me this sounds way too dirty (as opposed to the comment above) and AFAIK autechre use more or less digital gear nowadays. and its not even in stereo. |

haha, it's confusing for me as well, but im not an autechre connoisseur :) the sound is definitely autechre's, but the outcome is a bit weak..im still almost certain it's them though. |

this sounds allot like autechre. but it isn't. it's made by a guy called 3tronik. if you would say that this was autechre I'd believe it. I think it's spot on how autechre sounds. |

this sounds more organic and unpredictable then those mp3's we are talking about. they sound cheap and bad. and the make of it shouldn't be signed. |

lets investigate: if its fake - well the track names were only released on xltronic.com or watmm.com - so you can bet that its a user here or there or they at least read the forums + there a lot of COUGHgoodCOUGH musicians here that are very capable of doing this. if its real - then its not the first time something has leaked before its official release date - bola gnyase(sp) - a silver mt zion horse.... - you get the picture. |

ahh, t you are a gentleman and a scholar - maybe i will make a mix for you, but that tough because you already know all music there is :) well what i know about phobs having it is this: he posted the lp's track listing - 2XLP track listing, he knew the track lengths "track lengths = forbidden" and he had all of this information before anyone, basically he knows sean and rob = they gave him a rough pressing of it. he is also a trusted person, he will only let us know what hes been given to ok to divulge - i guarentee he already has the new autechre - what else is he sitting on? now thats the question. |

oh snap i thought we finally had proof that it was fake. i can't stand this waiting. quite frankly i expected more from ae and i certainly hope untilted has something completely different in store for us than this. i'm really excited in case it's fake, but i'm also really worried that it might be real. i mean if it's real it means they have stopped exploring so much as they did on draft and confield.. and that's bad. as said before its not a bad album, its just ae can do much better wound wise, and they can experiment more. im just hoping for either official track lengths or official samples soon. the wait is on.. |

i cant, im the biggest fanboy ever and i need a life beyond autechre, but this is just too important to me. autechre is my redemption, and when i listen to confield and draft i realize their genius. i do not however see it on the new one. it simply CANNOT be real. i would cry. hard. if it is real id have to go down to where they live and spank some bums. |

just heard it. not real in my opinion. it sounds to me whoever made the (quite good) tracks just used samples from previous releases making it sound ae-ish.....i hope i am right. |

guys i have another "slight" proof.. both draft and confield start out with this really low amped noise, kinda like thin metal strings being intertwined. not that it means much but i think they will begin this album with that as well. |
