my predictions: the final is going to be played by holland and germany. germany will make a quick goal and will dominate the game in the 1st half just like brazil did against holland. 2nd half will be much more even, and both sides score 2 times. final score 3-2 for germany. |

I must admit germany totally surprised me of course I knew they had their chances, but I was seeing a strong argentina so far, with lots of poison in the attacking line credit to tolstoyed that had so much confidence in the german side brazil on the other hand fucked it all really as they were totally destroying the dutch in the first half well done netherlands!! the way germany is playing I cant see spain advancing, but hope is the last thing to be left it could be germany - netherlads in the final, like in 1974 lets see if uruguay and spain allow that |

i think spain has a much better chance against germany than argentina had. they play a much more thought out football and i can easily see that match going to penalties. but for sure spain ain't goona allow 3 or 4 goals. i really don't know what people (football fans!!!) see in argentina.. i was surprised by netherlands too. i don't know how much it had to do with brazil not giving a fcuk and how much was due to their strength, but to play against brazil in that way definitelly takes some courage. i liked the attitude with which they played a lot and i hope brazil learnt their lesson so they never again do something similary stupid. germany against netherlands final would be pretty great. as for spain, they could sure use someone like zidane, someone who would lead all the kids in the team. casillas is a bit like that but as a goalkeeper he can't put his presence where needed : ) |
