Synthacon 9 is 100% RDJ to me.

The whole album gets 9/10 at the moment, but it's probably
gonna grow on me quite a lot.

I have only first 4 tracks, but I am definitely buying 3x12"
:) Very good music. Melancholic 9/10 indeed.

i just fucking hate people saying "its xxx" or "no it
isnt"...
fucking explain your fucking reasons, bastards!

i know its a more idm attitude not giving full information,

but its also seriously annoying...

so, phobia : youre just playing the game, or you have
reliable informations for knowing it is rdj?

the last track (i dont have the leaked copy) gets better
after a few weeks. (if we're talking about the same
track...kinda minimal, doesn't bounce around much)....

it's not very kind during the day, but at night (pitch
black/glow from LCD monitor while working on a project), it
sets a nice atmosphere.

described, never felt it before, its like a new emotion or

the astrobotnia tracks only ever focused on one idea, two at
most, while the tracks on rushup edge have enough going on
to hold up to repeated listening. this is a completely
different beastphlex.

its weird that it takes like two days of listening to even

nobody is suspicious about these being fakes cause they are
too good.

Albeit an excellent release, 2 days later I find myself
feeling less excited about this actually.

Aphex fanboyism aside, I think he is capable of WAY more
still. To me this is still another ep in a lot of ways.

If it was 12-14 tracks long and well over an hour in length,
I think I could bring myself to share in the same sentiment
(as many here) that this is truly as remarkable as it is or
"the best record of the year," as many people have
suggested.

Don't get me wrong, this shit is good, but 6 years later I
can still reach for Drukqs and be completely satisfied.

I'm not sure I can say the same thing about Rushup Edge in
2013.

One last thing...

talking to some people (here and elsewhere), it's been
suggested that the lack of criticality in regards to this
record might just be a result of the aforementioned 6 year
break in any return to true Aphex style. Yeah, I know this
is "different," but this is the closest we've gotten since
pre-Anuslord and it's fallen short for some of us in a lot
of ways.

One thing is clear. The Tuss sounds like an addition to the
Analord series. It is some amazing motherfucking music.
Aphex Twin makes amazing music! No matter what name he
chooses to release it under. I don't care who it is, but I
do think it is Richard D James. Eat more mustard. Have a
nice day.
