it's not "bad," especially if acid is one of your perfered
genres. Actually Rushup I Bank 12 is a pretty good song,
even if afx is stealing his own melody from Crying In Your
Face.

I just have to be in the mood for this sound. These kind of
fast beepy sort of video game melodies grow tiresome quickly
to me.

Aside from I Bank 12, Synthacon has one little switchup I
like (2:00-2:22... those hi-hats) but otherwise it's a real
snoozer for 6 minutes 20 seconds.

i'm a bit dissapointed with Rushup Edge (the one that's
leaked), I hope the tracks turn out to be faked leaked
tracks, coz otherwise Aphex is losing it and that would be
sad.

i think it is, though it could've been longer, i seem to be
missing alot of those 'gem' moments that make you repeat
that particular part over and over again

I'm not and have never been on oink. I still dont have any
track titles, so I'm not sure which tracks you guys are
talking about (except for the duck sound ;)

How can you even compare this to drukqs?
it's not even worth the arguement, sheesh.

have fun chatting and whining about it only being 6 tracks
or whatever the fuk you guys are on about ... im gonna go
listen to it.

well, ttyl

Finally I managed to get hold of some rushup edge mp3's....
Synthacon 9 is brilliant, reminds me a bit of polygon window
actually...

If THE TUSS is not RDJ he should try to find his own sound
and not duplicate/clone/copy the twin just because he
can...

in other words, this MUST be the works of rdj...

offline OK on 2007-05-22 10:35 [#02086289]
Points: 4791 Status: Lurker

I think it's brilliant. I didin't think so much of it at
first listen but wowow it's really great.
RDJ keeps exploring that melodic/harmonic theme he first
showed on drukqs (so it must be him, or someone who has
studied him).

My least favorite is Shiz Ko E, wich I could describe as a
remix of a kerrier district track.

It's the best think to come out of the "scene" in years.

this deserves a thumbs up.

lush melodies & bass lines: present.
fucked up beats: present.
freshness: oh yes, even though it's analog, acid and all

favorite: Rushup I Bank 12.

is it much like the first 12" by Tuss or something similar
to the stuff on the myspace, which is not good.

Well I just checked the stuff on myspace and it's crap, not
the same thing, either fake or red herring. Whatever, Rushup
Edge is Aphex and damn good.

it is better than the ep, and better than the stuff on

somewhere between analord 10 and the MEN ep's.
