it's callled "excellent marketing techniques". strangely,
the rephlex corp. is not very consistent in this department.
but when it does work, it creates hysteria everywhere.

very nice music :) "...a unique blend of head music and
dance vibes, everything from acid / house / techno /
industrial to pastoral and folk influences..." - pastoral
and folk... interesting :) can't wait for my (cd) copy :)

first track, boring.
second track, better.
third track boring.

my review.

what's happened to aphex twin, where's the emotion, where's
the new direction, where's the passion?... some of analord I
very much enjoyed, despite hating the actual samples, but
this release, which ia basically another chapter on the
analord series is lacking.

I thought the second track was going to be really excellent
when I heard the preview.. but the track just repeats its
elements .. over and doesn't go anywhere.

I think i'll stick with squarepusher to be honest now.

No, he yells prick at the begining of gx-1 solo. I love when
the bass line kicks in at 3:44 and the melody changes into a
really pretty arpeggio.

I can't believe people buy this, it's like retarded
analord.. if richard did actually make this, he made it for
a joke... he's probably laughing at all the fan boys
convincing their selves, that yes, they do in fact like it,
and they will continue to reassure each other that it's all
"ok" because it is aphex twin and therefore, allowed to like
the retarded music that they know deep down inside is in
fact, total shit.

the worst track is gx-1 solo, what a fucking laugh, it's
like a trance boy finally getting fruity loops, then making
a 5 minute long track from a random midi generator fed
through to a classic old analogue simulating synth.

seriously, this is a fucking joke. anyone else saying
otherwise is lying to their selves.

saying that, I did very much enjoy the first 2 minutes of
Alspacka, but then richard, or whoever it is keeps repeating
elements, doesn't bring anything new and exciting in.

huuum, so you don't like it?
must be prety powerful music to make someone angry like you
are :D

i like it, i don't care if it's richard, but it's clear that
the similitude to his style probably makes me like it more,
seeing as i'm a fan...

well done whoever it is, it sound fresh and it's a nice
blend of old and new without trying to be ultra innovative
in your face
and if you can't accept music for what it is, well, i'm
sorry for you...

I think he has already stated his case for being dumb
perfectly well.

P.S. What's all this about different tracks on CD/vinyl???
Is this only from some oink leak or something? I won't be
getting this until next Saturday, so would be nice to know
if this is a wind up or not. I don't really want to buy the
CD aswell.

shut up man
if you dont like it, it doesn't mean we don't have to like
it either. You're just angry because it's the 100th myth
made by Richard, and i gotta tell ya, they make me tired
too. Can't there be any release without people questioning
wether he made this with analog gear or didn't, WHAT he
used, HOW he used it...

shame people seem to care more about that than the music
itself :(
