It was like some awful mutation of a Scorsese film with some
Tarantino in it, some incredibly annoying and gratuitous
MtVish editing/directing and, as a bonus, characters no one
cares about. And the action took place in Brazil and the
actors were unknown kids to make it look more real or
important or something.

Ummmmm, like, maybe:

Metropolis
Taxi Driver
Barry Lyndon
Three Colours: Red
M
Some Like It Hot
The Elephant Man
The Idiots

and also maybe:

Chelovek S Kinoapparatom (Man with a movie camera)

because i want to look really cool and credible. I don't
know, i have a hard time separating "i really like it" from
"Best Film". I want to include Runaway Train as well
because it's great, and Amélie because i'm a big
soppy fool.
