Terminal - 1.5/5

and, i only gave it the .5 because i turned it off before it
ended, and i'm giving it the benefit of the doubt that the
ending was a masterpeice.

I saw Dodgeball last night. I give it a 2.75/5. It's a
decent comedy with some good moments and awkward at times.
The most funny moments revolve around Ben Stiller doing his
perfectly oblivious character.

stupid!

my rant about this is on the Jim Carry thread. boring/goes
nowhere/bad irritating characters.

oh:

Coffee and Cigaretts - 3/10

seems to be an interesting concept, but isn't. only
interesting segment was the Which Stripes and the Tesla
coil. you'd think Stephen Right could come up w/ something,
but its all just suggested conversation topics by the
director. the ending wasn't bad but that didn't make up for
it.

on a side there are movies i do like. loved Shaun of the
Dead!

"only interesting segment was the Which Stripes and the
Tesla coil."

I thought that was the worst short of the film by a long
way, loved most of the others.

The Village 8.5/10

great movie!
very good actors and most important of them all, I only knew
one actor, I like it even more to see "unknown" actors than
seeing faces I have seen multiple times before

the script of the movie is very clever and the camerawork is
amazing

Hero - 2/5

visually it was really nice. nothing totally unique, but
the color pallate, and the way he switched the pallate up
each time was very nice. and ziyi zhang is stunning.

however, i thouroughly disliked almost everything else about
the story. it felt like the entire thing was in slow
motion. time was stretched entirely too much. i got the
feeling that the director was desperately trying to
accentuate the dramatic impact of the film, but i ended up
just wanting it to wrap up.

sorry, i know there are lots of people here that loved it.

i agree totally but i gave Hero 3/5. i thought visually it
was quite enjoyable, one of those movies that would be
great, projected on a wall, at a club blasting good
electronic music or something.

but it was also visually overwhelming, so that by the end, i
felt so oversaturated that i couldn't really appreciate it
anymore.

!!

wasnt as bad as everyone said, i wasnt expecting too much
but it wasnt anything too special nor too great, just kind
of kept me interested enough in it to not hate it. should be
more violent though, pg-13 movies automatically suck.
