when the companies start out small they often don't have any money to pay the logo people or anything. whoever does it thinks they're getting a good deal designing a simple logo for some schmuck nobody and getting $35 for it... but, then the company becomes a multi-bzillion dollar entity and they wanna cash in on that. like the dude who did the AOL "you've got mail" voice got nothing from it. then, 10 years later after AOL is huge he wants to get payed. that's not how it works though. |
