no, that wont happen here... well, it could happen - but i guess our site has 10x more capacity than watmm. we're not even remotely closed to our limits yet - but it will change after the full site has been launched, of course. |

cause if they only had a certain amount of threads, people wouldn't have to be so anal about topics not being to their standards of worth. spamming still shouldn't be allowed... but things would be more relaxed . |

I don't spam... sure i've had conversations here, but im not saying people shouldn't write crap, or spam, or talk or anything.. all im saying is that there's like a million threads no one ever uses.. and it's just an idea of saving space. that's all. |

unless i'm wrong, and i entirely could be, the old threads shouldn't matter as far as bandwidth goes... that's more of a server storage space issue. bandwidth is only refering to the actual amount of data being sent over the net, so, if nobody ever clicks on the old threads, they take up no bandwidth. the streaming and downloading of songs is prolly taking up a sizeably larger chunk of bandwithdth than dinky little threads that probably only amount to 5k of bandwidth. course, they do clutter up the board. |
