ok, some of you probably noticed the recent behaviour by some members to some other members (insulting, badmothing, interentally called "flaming"). to say it short, i've had enough of this. the whole crew don't want any kind of behaviour like this on the board. as a result to some members' previous and current behaviour, I'll temp-ban everyone who's flaming the board. i don't give a toss who started a fight, just be polite to each other. if you feel like arguing with people, stick to AICQSN or whatever... if you will stick to flaming, get banned and feel treated unfair, read the words I wrote above... and now act mature and be polite! |

people I consider as friends in this community tend to not insult other people I believe. i won't make any excuses, regardless how many points one has, etc. sorry to sound that harsh, and/or be that strict, but this shit definitely needs to end. I also refer to the FAQ that says similar things. |

you're right sine. i've been guilty of this recently, even when it's only in response to other flames or when discouraging trolls. it's not healthy plus i know that's what they want from me so i'll make a point to keep it off the board. they know how i feel about them anyway, and almost everyone here is smart enough to recognize childish and/or mean behavior. |

I must admit that I've been flaming people recently. However I would *never* start a flame war in any way. The things I have said that could be experienced as flaming have always been a reaction to other people insulting others. That being said, I will try to keep calm in the future :) |

I agree. I've been losing my cool and getting drawn into some of the idiotic behavior that's been going on here lately. From now on I'll grin and bear it. I think most people recognize a troll\big ego\etc. when they see one and don't need me to point it out for them. |

isn`t all this "flaming" a breach of the Internet Fire Safety Guidelines(IFSG)? I mean, what if the firemen/women are on strike and the whole site burns down? that what be tragic. I recommend a post stating the rules of the IFSG |

This has occured alot recently. I feel that people get too swept up in the debates on the board and just mouth off to each other. A good example if the religion thread. That got very out of hand very quickly. |

agreed! it's ok to be critical, judgemental even on certain issues or certain people, but hurling unjustified and unreasonable insults at other people on the board is uncalled for! it's one thing to write: "i don't agree with your opinion on ______ because _____" but quite another to write "you flaming piece of _____" shees! just when you thought kindergarten was long over ... ! |

we won't hesitate to shut down the messageboard if we find it necessary. we need some peace and rest from this lot. more info: the proxy scan engine check out member database 3-4 times per day, thats why we cant block the trolls when they register... it usually takes a while before they get banned. (sometimes the trolling is obvious tho and the mods uses the "ban" button). |
