'Larger Than Life' is on BBC1 in about 35 minutes. I've never seen it - apart from the first 10 minutes in Spanish - and I hear it's not exactly a classic but hey it's better than Eastenders. And another film to add to my Bill Watched List :)

Well it's only just come out in the cinema here in the UK, and due to it not exactly being a blockbuster this will probably delay it's Region 2 release by a month or several. I'm not sure if there would be anything different anyway... a Coppolla/Bill commentary would be nice but that's probably wishful thinking.

Saw Lost In Translation on Saturday and it was great. Its really understated and Murray and Johansson were excellent. Some reviewer called it a 'mood pice' which I think is pretty accurate.

Just back from Lost in Translation :) I'll have to watch it again to form a proper opinion of it... it is literature I would say... my friend told me she was waiting for "something to happen", but don't hold that against her ;) First impressions though-- very good, very touching, slightly slow in pace (I need to watch it at least once more to decide whether I think it was too slow). GOod to see Giovanni Ribisi in this--I like hi..I remember him in episode DPO from The X-Files, and thinking at the time that he was pretty cool ;)
Time to Update MY Bill checklist :D
