I wish I was a tone deaf creative director of some Italian
fashion brand and I could "curate" an advert that spliced
the George Floyd porno with lavish shots of a handbag. And
give it a hashtag like #bebetter

No, but... one can imagine it happening. I liked Madonna's
video of her getting her black adopted son to dance in the
kitchen to Michael Jackson's "they don't care about us".
That helped.

Madonna's face now looks like one of those deep abyssal sea
creatures who expand when brought to the surface because of
the difference in pressure

i went 'round to the drive-thru just now, and there were a
ton of cops out -- everywhere. camping in places they
usually camp, and others i've never seen them camp before.
at intersections. this is a reasonably boring town full of
karens and white kids that stand a 4/5 chance of going to
college. you'd have to drive 20-30 minutes to get near where
protests are happening, and it's been raining for the last
hour. fucking christ, no one is going to do shit here, you
dolts.

perhaps their response would be, "and that's the way we want
to keep it." or are they just pissed off at the general
uprising against police bullshit? like, they're mad that
people are giving them shit for harassing black people, and
to punish us, they are now up to harass anyone that so much
as looks at them funny or loiters by 7/11

ill have to explain. the internet turns us all into
poopeople so we cant even really read what we say to each
other. ill have to explain

1) i said that people shouldnt even talk about this because
politics on the internet is 'gay'.
- its shrill and everyone is being a drama vagina trying to
hype everything into a globe shaking moment. obviously the
more people do that the more actual drama materializes and
then real humans get HURT (bad). its happened already

2) tony runs into my area. completely naked and covered in
poo. 'ur living in a DREAMLAND dude. history is BACK and
this is a revolution'
- tony likes jacobin mag and max blumenthal. he dosnt care
that max blumenthal has done this: LAZY_TITLE
he wont even read about it. no one here will read about it.
no one is listening

3) i remind tony that radicalism is dead and that covering
yourself in poo is bad.
- this is where things basically concluded until you felt
there was something wrong.

you thought i was saying the protests against police abuses
were just 'dead radicalism'. wasnt really trying to say
that.
i said that the surrounding internet drama is ggaayy and
then was forced to respond to ponydancer69 by reminding him
that radicalism is actually dead. cos it probably is tho.

I think a real problem with discussing anything of substance
on the ol' internet is that people aren't analytical, they
can't separate politics from sexuality or violence from
language, and everything gets bundled together into a white
hot ball of rage encompassing their entire worldview as well
as all of their characterizations of "the other side" which
they then hurl at what they perceive to be their enemies.

Sound familiar?

it's not exactly made up, there are antifascist groups,
usually quite small, that share the same culture and praxis,
but the idea that there would be any kind of centralised
entity is hilarious if you know anyone involved in this kind
of stuff. it's soros pizzagate nonsense.

Antifa certainly DO exist, and they even call themselves
this, and it's rather stupid to expect them to have a
fucking address somewhere. They are also mostly young kids,
naive and idealistic, angry at the world - very very
plausible that these small groups could be infiltrated and
manipulated. In fact knowing what the CIA, FBI etc. have
gotten up to since forever, I would be very suprised if they
*hadn't* done this. And from there, it's not a leap to think
of more shadowy actors with *more* nefarious purposes.

This is some rinky-dink meetup.com group in a relative
backwater, and they still have enough resources to put a
guy on the inside for years, living the part.

out for the destruction and looting - if they keep on with
that shit there will be dire dire consequences.

cops with federally funded military equipment are laying
siege to entire cities and waging war on american citizens,
but is that the big news noooooo the big news is, if you
freeze frame a video maybe you can squint a bit and find
evidence that george soros has mind controlled a couple of
kids in hoodies to damage a cop car

I think people respond most strongly to specific threats
involving agency, like this guy wants to hurt me or this
bear wants to eat me, we're not as good at seeing the big
picture, like the whole socioeconomic structure is rotten.
