etchogon is the shit!

the whole ep is some twisted sound mangled acid thing.. love
the sounds they have in there.

Well, after giving it a spin a few times, I think my
favorites are

etchogon
pce freeze
nth Dafuseder
iris was a pupil
Cep puiqMX

The others are so-so and didn't catch me the same.
Stil, FUCKING SOLID.

don't worry. you're going to love this one. where oversteps
was drowned in esoteric bells and whistles, move of ten sort
of picks off where tracks like ilanders and st_epreo were
going.

I like how this one is kinda more weird than their earlier
stuff.
Like those weird glass effects in etchogon and the swirly
spirals.. Not to mention the flute and drone ambience in
nth.. This is good stuff.
They also kinda do the ilanders thing with how the songs
evolve and new details emerge.. I like that.

You know every album they've done have their own sort of
microworlds and ways of sounding, and if I know ae move of
ten and oversteps is THIS, and then next release will be
different again.

Even though we hear traces of former albums, it's always
presented in a new way.
I been having this on all day and it's fantastic.. yet
another ae to enjoy.. :)

I can't stop to play "nth Dafuseder.b", which simultaneously
doesn't sound like Autechre whilst sounding like an updated
version of Icunabula. I think Autechre continue to get
better and better. GOOD MEN!

i hate it. it sounds like they are making fun of themselves.
all those years of enigmatic track names and now we have
"iris was a pupil". and this 4/4 techno sound...

i really love autechre not only for the music but the whole
image they build for so many years. the scarce interviews,
not talking about techniques and gear, the track names and
so on. now it seems that they just want to turn it into a
big joke and show "oh look we aren't really that serious".

christ, that really is dire. a new low. suspend reality for
a moment and imagine one of your mates invented that crap
and played it to you, you'd struggle to find anything
positive to say. some of you are being mentally bumfucked by
these charlatans.

seriously the only thing that this album lacks to be a total
fuckyou is some cowbell. and some cabasa tsch tsch samples.
maybe some clap here and there.

quite bocy little flutes in nth Dafuseder.b.

Listened a few times now, I like the extended EP releases,
they tend to let their hair down stylistically and do a few
less expected things. a bit more experimentalism. . . I
still think i preferred the production on confield era more
tho. sounds a bit too compressed at times for my taste.

I really like this and oversteps too. Between quaristice
oversteps and this, i feel they're making pretty tasteful
decisions and naturally the sounds/priorities feel more
mature than older stuff.

I LOVE how viciously split down the middle so many people
are on autechre.. it's pretty amazing.

be o see e!
