I'm sorry big v_v.

It felt like really sloppy storytelling to me.

Like a middle school kid trying to tell a joke and having to
go back and retell sections cause he realized he had messed
up after he'd already told them, and then when he finally
gets to the punchline it was exactly what you were expecting
and probably wouldn'tve even been funny if they had been
able to tell it correctly.

out on Criterion now... wish they released more of his films

i don't care about storytelling, and does it matter in this
movie, the logical development of the story? i don't know

^_^

i am legend 2/5
the first half was kindo of cool, it'd be cool to be alone
on earth

then it went all M. Night Shyamalan and the 'god' thing was
not motivated by the story

Harsh Times = steaming pile of dog vomit. 0/5

Juno = typical run of the mill emo-com. 2.5/5

I am Legend = similar to that feeling you get when you've
eaten to many Haribo's, when you knew it would be like that
but still did it anyway. 1/5

a documentary much better! Better music, better editing,
better everything. LAZY_TITLE

well, I can't say too much without ruining the whole thing,
I guess... I just didn't like the story. The editing with
the messy timeline didn't made it any better.

(I guess I just wanted a film like "Fried Green Tomatoes"
and didn't get it)

vintage video effect, great movie to watch on a rainy
afternoon or whenever, I watched it at 5am.

Sweeny Todd - 3.5/5

Not as good as I had hoped... the songs were what let the
film down, there was only one that worked about midway when
they were singing about the pies... still, it was worth
watching though.

Its been years since i have came out of the cinema thinking
i've just seen something really special and that was 'The

Cloverfield - 1/5
What a stupid movie.

Paris, Je T'Aime - 3/5
Gus Van Sant and Alexander Payne did the best job with their
short films, especially Payne.

Alien Vs Predator Requiem - 2.5/5
This movie didn't care about anything. It did not care about
direction, story or plot. It did not care about children or
pregnant women, which was actually a bit of fresh air in a
rather putrid movie.

Sweeney Todd - 2.5/5
Bad direction. The movie was just about filmed entirely in
medium shots. So visually claustrophobic.

I just revisited my favorite Tim Burton joint, a little
movie with a Big Adventure: Pee Wee. 4.25/5
That du du du theme in the beginning bike race dream was my
first exposure to electronic music. I still play it on my
casio to this day. Also, Phil Hartman was there writing
many of the gags. I just found out he did the voice for Mr.
Wilson in Dennis Menace cartoons, amazing. The ending was
just like 8 1/2 but even funnier. I can't wait to watch it
again in another five years!

The Bicycle Thief - 4.75/5

sweeney todd 3ish-4ish/5
i didn't think it was that bad. i'm not really a fan of
musicals, but as far as musicals go about mass murdering
barbers, i think this did a really good job. i did notice
all those medium shots that mr brazil mentioned, but i
didn't really mind.
however, the opening sequence with all the cgi blood was a
bit sus..
