hehe, i don't think it was you as the winning bid was £26,
I guess i'll have to wait for another to get put on ebay.
i'm surprised more of his films aren't released considerin
In The Mood For Love won a few awards and had a good special
edition dvd release.

Would you believe there's now two on ebay!
at £3.99 and one at 0.99p!

I've just ordered Infernal Affairs actually - I find if you
search on ebay.com (instead of .co.uk) you find a LOT more
HK movies - All of Wong Kar-Wai's stuff - And usually a lot
cheaper!

Things like Volcano High, I've never seen on UK ebay.

Cannot wait for Chungking Express to arrive - Apparently
Tarantino was in tears of joy at its screening: "I just
can't believe I could love a movie so much!"

You don't need to search on .com, you have an option to
search all items available to the UK instead of just all
items in the UK on the .co.uk site.

"Cannot wait for Chungking Express"

nor me, it also has one of my favourite HK actresses in it,
Brigget Lin (my avatar before this one). I think it was her
last film

The Last Emperor (Directors Cut) - 4/5

excelent film, though the Chinese speaking in English kind
of annoyed me.

Fog of War 4/5

Scary and informative documentary, I didn't realise how much
Japan was bombed in WWII, something like 59% of the Country
was destroyed BEFORE they dropped 2 nuclear bombs on them.
Hundreds of thousands of civilians killed. Talk about
overkill!

Shangri-la 4.2/5

excelent new film from Miike (Audition) Takeshi

Jacob's Ladder- 86
Took me a while to see it, but better late than never. Good
movie, though for some reason the part that sticks in my
mind most is the scene in Vietnam where the guy's hopping
around with his leg dangling off.

roman polaski: an incredible name and therefor easy to
forget
i prefer swimming pool too
i think polanski's view on 'woman', being strong and
beautiful and, i dont know, a mystery, is a bit
old-fashioned

Bit of a situation tonight:

Choice of True Romance or Best In Show

I've heard True Romance is a classic but I'm more in the
mood for a comedy right now.. any suggestions?

are good, and sometimes they aren't... i expect this one to
be good... but even his best films aren't superfantastic or
