XLT VIBES #19 | Analord Remixes & Reinterpretations

This isn't an official vibes yet, but if Phobia accepts it,
we're set.

Now that the Analord tracks have started to "sink in", a lot
of people have found this to be some Richard's finest work.
Even though they're not always the most advanced
compositions he's done, they're still filled to the brim
with creative melodies and solid beats. And you've just got
to love that analogue fuzz.

I'd like all of you musicians on xlt (so many awesomeones )
to pick one or more songs that you would want to
remix/reconstruct/reinterpret/rewhatever from the Analord
series and do just that. Then send a link or the files
themselves (under 10MB) to noises@gmail.com. Alternatively
contact me on AIM (iameod) or Yahoo! Messenger
(noisesynthesis).

If anyone wants to mix this stuff give me a shout and we can
transfer the files. That is if the vibes idea is given a go
ahead by Phobia.

I've had this idea for a long time, but I figured now would
be a good idea to pitch it. Looking forwards to hearing your
responses (and tracks), because I know this will turn out
good if enough people are into it!

Cheers!

I played football in the fall. Specifically did not play
Basketball in the winter so I could workout everyday. Threw
the shot put and the discuss in the spring (track and field)
and then would workout like a mad man in the summer to get
ready for football in the fall again. I excelled in all the
sports in which I participated in.

COUNT ME IN.

Let's just hope people actually notice it (and create
tracks!). Maybe Cylob should give it a go.

think it's better to stay indoors.

Good idea! Take some of RDJ's most traditional-sounding
acid and fark it up!
Time to fire up the 202 and 707.
Oh, maybe I should listen to some of the analord tracks
first. Don't have any.
Oh well, I'll get them somehow. I'm in when I get em.

What about a deadline?

oh, i just finished my rewhatever of where's your girlfriend
and will send it to staz soon. i didn't know oddio was
doing it too, but i don't think it will be a problem.
there's pretty much no way on earth the two will sound
anything alike.

no problem in doing several versions of the same track...
i'm working on a steppingfilter 101 remix + a cilonen remix
right now... probably gonna make a few more too, this is
great fun. try and not share your tracks with other xlt
people that much, the mix should have the element of
surprise.
