Yes, but the purpose is to showcase everything in the vibe. If two tracks won't seem to mix together then just play them after eachother instead. It's not a mixing contest. |

No it isn't, in my case I want to create a solid sounding mix...which is very difficult with the variety of all these Analord remixes. If you don't like it then I'll withdraw my contribution as I don't want anyone to be dissapointed. |

But I think everyone that has given this vibe a chance and put in the effort to make their own track deserves to hear their tunes together with all the other ones, no matter how good they are. I'm sure you're doing a great job at the mix though and I wouldn't want you to withdraw your work. |

but since yours is the only one lacking it kinda is anyway, isn't it. and since this is a collaborative effort, you could just mix it in to the existing mix. i think that would work. no matter how much you beat around the bush, the only track that's missing out of his mix is yours. and you can fix it if you want. |

The Fah track isn't there because I haven't got it (sorry mate, I wasn't around, and I somehow missed out on your messages... computer isn't all that these days), and the Oddio one because I didn't have it either. It was lost during one of my numerous computer crashes, and I just recently found the mail message with it. He redistributed it to the mixmasters, however, so at least they have it now. The track will be around for the individual track distribution, of course, along with Fah's when he's posted me the link again. Now, I have no idea why the [d] mix was cut out of the futureimage thread, nor why yours was cut out of the Aesthetics thread, but that's up to them as mixers. I'm not going to scream at them for doing it, but I'm a bit disappointed still. I can testify that Aesthetics' mix is great, though, and I hope futureimage's will prove to be a sweet one as well. Now if he'd only manage to give it to me. |

Fah, send your track(s) to futureimage@hotmail.co.uk I didn't include [d]'s track, even though it's great, because I can't set markers to it in Ableton where it's glitch, so the beats of the bar change often. I tried, but it sounded shit in the end once i had timestretch certain bits to get it right in Ableton. Sorry. The numbers in the tracklisting are the markers where I've got to start playing the next track. Where it says (Loop) there's a loop of the ending so I don't have to worry about getting the right marker. The track marked IMPAKT Backdoor is the one you sent the MIDI to me for. I've marked the tracks up in Ableton with EOD, IMPAKT and ODDIOBLE for easy reference. Staz, I haven't actually RECORDED the mix yet. I said I'm busy!!! :) |
