You should really read the first page of this thread. It
states that you can mail the song to phobiazero if your
mailclient can attach large files. If not, you mail him to
work something out.

just make an account at a free website provider, upload the
file, send phobiazero the link, then close the account after
he gets it.

Someone should realise it isn't allowed to post the name of
the track you remixed. It's elsewhere in this thread why!

Let's say two thirds of the people participating contribute
2 tracks, the others contribute 1 and 150 people contribute,
that makes 250 tracks.

That's my final guess. So phobes, how many so far?

offline patrik from Keele (United Kingdom) on 2003-04-17 09:28 [#00654926]
Points: 1448 Status: Regular

That means (if you contributed 1 track) you've got a 16,6%
chance of being one of the top 15!

If yer track's shite though you've got an, ooh, 0% chance.

went ok. maybe i should mail him again? (wouldn't want to
bother him too much.)

westric venther: funny to have only 1 point and mention in a

well it made me chuckle.
but then, wonder of wonders, poopie's account and posts were
all deleted! who could have forseen such an occurance?
ps, i am not skyfarmer, i've just been here long enough in

I think I hated my remix because I listened to it too much
while making it. But now that time has passed, I usually
like it when I hear it (instead of feeling queazy.)

Great way to get some publicity for the board in the
introverted cave dwelling IDM community. So many back logs
to catch up on for good topics... but hey, glad I made it,
good inspiration for some new stuff

interviewer: Well it's been 6 months since the day you,
let's face it, owned the autechre remix contest by releasing
a composition that was so far ahead of it's time that it was
mistaken for awhile to have been created by aliens. It
caused a fantastic revolution and rethinking of all that was
previously thought of as music, but more importantly it has
sparked an even bigger revolution in the entire realm of
scientific thought. How do you feel?

w M w: What? I wasn't listening to you.

interviewer: ...were you worried that your remix would be
a little TOO good? I mean, jesus christ, you didn't want to
make autechre embarrassed did you?

w M w: Well, I believe that it is necessary for people to
play their part in passing along their ideas and inventions
in order for culture to build on itself. I had consumed the
computer music culture of the previous generation and it was
time for me to pass along my superior augmented form of it.
It is more important that society benefits from my superior
creations than preventing autechre's creations from seeming
insignificant relative to mine thus resulting in their
embarrassment. (at this point in the interview w M w took
lint out of his pocket and ate it)

interviewer: I have heard that the only food you eat is
peanuts. Is this a rumor?

w M w: It is true. I get my super powers from the peanut
shells actually, but I eat the peanuts as well only because
they are tasty. I don't want to give the precise secret
method of the super power extraction, but it involves
artifically intelligent microchip bacteria implanted in my
intestines which are able to convert the shells into their
zygo-snoggle form.

interviewer: I thought you just said you believed "people
should play their part in passing along their ideas and
inventions for culture to build on itself"... Aren't you
contradicting yourself by keeping your method of obtaining
super powers a secret?

w M w: I never contradict myself. Yes I do. Well, this is
all the time I wa

nt to spend talking to you because you are not
entertaining... and because you are ugly.

interviewer: Thank you so much for your time! My

unbelievable. OMG, OMG! I just interviewed the w M
