thank you, impakt. i got tired of the clutter about a year
ago & decided those 3 tier A frame stands are prolly the
best route in organizing larger things, like a laptop, drum
machine and synth/midi controller.

Hey, quoth. How is the ion. Some people just rave about
them. I am not sold yet. I am thinking of going out and
getting an sh201 next month. Wondering if I should just pay
the extra 300 and get the ion instead.

Currently with my job, I am fucking busy, I work 8 - 5, mon
- fri, and I have no time within the week to make music.

Do you have day jobs or what?

thanks

I don't have any life aside from making music and working.
Its just me and my girlfriend. I spend practically every
spare penny on gear. I can afford to smoke and thats about
it otherwise.

I wish I had more money. So I could get more of the things
on my wishlist faster.

(It helps having a visa card to rack up)

the ion is sweet, because you can have 4 different
voices... editable as fuck and there is lots of banks and
patches to get you going.... as far as having "drum" sounds
or something of that nature... that is where it lacks, but
for getting really odd, future music (acid tripping) sounds,
this is it... it matches beautifully with the juno 60 and
such :)

i signed my life away with the US army... and so, since i
don't have to pay for food, housing, or anything for that
matter, my money goes straight to what i want to do after i
get out of the military... life sucks right now, because my
studio is not where i lay my head at night, but in less than
a year, i'm planning on ruling the world.

i work 40 hours a week and i find time to make tracks when
i'm home. it works out good cause its usually at night, when
its quiet in my neighborhood and, especially if its raining,
more "homely". i never feel comfortable being in my house
when its daytime...

to assist in having time to do tracks i just never really
make plans to have people over much or hang out. socially i
feel like i have experienced everything anyway. i just come
home and get on it. if im braindead enough from work and
life, i have a nice cache of speed that i love to eat...
love being on overdrive

Hmmm. Sounds good. I am still skeptical. It was really
shortsighted of them not to design something with
aftertouch.

I don't really need a synthesizer for beats, yet. I have
designs on a Machinedrum... but until then, its going to be
me with a gig of drum sounds.
