for some reason... i went and saw Lemony schniket's
something something last night... a little twisted, nothing
mind blowing.

Carey's second character was great.

If I stepped on Jim Carrey, as I should be able - nay
required - to do, he would squirt pus like the swolen
supporating yellow weeping sore he is.

The far best "alrighty then" can be seen in Ace Ventura 2.
The churchy monk chanting alrighty then that is.

I found it rather poor though compared to the first (ok,
wich wasn't exactly amazing either).

I like Mr. Carrey
His In Living Colour Material is incomparable to the rest of
the career which I admit is in fits and starts...though
prefer his darker ventures...MASK was damn
entertaining...CABLE GUY was frighteningly good, Truman Show
was a good turn surrounded by a pile of sap, Eternal
Sunshine...dunno...love the film and Carrey's turn, but it
doesn't instantly spring to mind as one of
his..um.."works"...I guess it's in a similar category as
Adam Sandler in Punch Drunk Love...

Jim Carrey has not been in a bad movie, I love the guy.
Definately my favorite actor/comedian of all time.

OMFG, does anyone know how fucking horribly boring and shit
"...A Series of Unfortunate Events" is. Jim Carry is just
playing the same old Jim Carry wacky shit in this movie...

but the movie itself just goes nowhere. has all the elements
of something good but is completely the opposite. stay away,
stay far far away. i've never seen such beautiful sets and
cinematography go to such waste. most of the characters are
just irritating and i think they miscast the leed kids. just
tell all your friends its tripe.

how can you hate "Lemony Snickett's Etcetera" and love "The
Grinch".

it seems nigh impossible.

i think the Grinch was well done and Events wasn't.

I can't say I appreciate this general lack of appreciation
towards Jim CarRey (with an emphasis on ace ventura
pet detective). His needless alteration of a simple trip to
a nearby door into a danger ridden detective-like mini
adventure (hopping over the rail and sneeking across, only
to hop back over on the same side again) was classic. Plus I
like to eat corn dogs sometimes.

eternal sunshine is lovely and inventive and carrey did
good.
the new one he is in 'a series of unfortunate and pointless
incidents' is so lame i guess if you get some dollar to muck
around it dont matter to mjuch. seriously though this movie
is fucking fucked up drivel i walkde out from the cinema.
this is why there is bit torrent
